Well tears are pouring down my face because I lived the same thing. My father deserted us when I was 3 years old and I don’t remember living during the time that he was there but I did remember that I loved him and I desperately wanted him back. I only saw my father a few times throughout my childhood. The pain is still there and I am 67 years old now. Like Ms Clarkson I have wonderful husband who stayed and we will have our 50th anniversary in August.
