Igh now didn’t think I’d have to address this but this is a REACTION not the video by itself 🤦🏾♂️ I listen to my viewers when I’m clearly doing something wrong but the pausing some are referring to are me saying how her voice is making me feel and how I feel about the song, also talking about the overall environment atp the people saying this just wanna chat 😂
True story for her. Dad left and rejected her then wanted her back in his life when she made it big.
This song, and this live version especially, makes me cry no matter how many times I've seen it. It's so beautiful but so hard to watch.

I'm so happy to see to see you took my recommendation. Kelly does a song called I dare you that was recorded live during a zoom session and she sings in 6 different languages with other artists. It's super impressive. Because of you is another great Kelly song and it's basically part 1 of Piece by piece that she wrote when she was about 16 about her dad leaving them. That one hits hard as well 👌

This is would sum up the relationship between my 2 sons biological father and their step dad (my wonderful husband who ever though they gave him hell proved he wasn't running away). My husband earned the title of their dad no matter who the sperm donor may of been.

This song actually hits harder when you know the story of Kelly's life. Her father and mother got divorced when she was younger and her father just left her. She wrote this song while she was pregnant with her second child, her son Remy, for her daughter River Rose while she was married to her ex-husband who ended up stealing a ton of money from her and lied to her throughout their entire relationship. She then had to pay him 1.2 million dollars after he was the a******. So she's singing this while she's pregnant and still married and now she said this song has a whole new meaning to it after what she's been through. Her husband was her manager and the company who she was signed to was run by her husband's father. They are now suing her. The whole thing is crazy.
