I guess when someone is deprived of something it can weaken ones mental state specially to continue on through the rounds. The fact that this fight has gotten controversial is a red flag in itself.

Well, according to the rules everything below the belly button is a low blow. Considering that Usyk usually puts his trunks pretty low (just compare them to Dubois') his belly button should be somewhere around the top of his belt, and if this footage is correct then this is clearly a low blow. What I saw live was the punch landing on the middle of Usyk's belt and that could also be considered low but then it raises the question, well, what if Usyk's trunks were pulled up just enough for the shot to be legal.
Punch also made his trunks to up a little bit.
The punch was an upper cut and it hit his cup before planting itself at the bottom of the belt line. It could have landed on his chest and still be illegal because it swung up and made contact with his cup.

I initially thought Dubois was robbed but the replays are conclusive that the punch was low. I don’t think Dubois should pursue a rematch as Usyk has likely figured him out now and could seriously hurt him next time.

In the pic @ 48 seconds this is where the punch ended up which is still low it connected 3" lower as it was an upper cut. There is a ref in the ring whose decision is final and had the closest view. In a video yesterday DDD says "By any means necessary" he obviously meant it.

But the refeer did not hesitate and verbally decreed to the judges that it was a low blow. Hence, Usyk was under no mental or physical pressure to rise, knowing he had the legal right to rest and recover for 5 minutes.

usyk won the fight point blank because he is a better fighter and was favored to win because he is a better fighter. refs have discretion and the call was within his margin of error, whether he wanted to call it a low blow or not. usyk out boxed dubois and nobody thinks dubois is a better fighter than usyk. if there was a rematch, usyk would win again, and again and again and so on and so forth.

Wow this looks fixed to me! That body shot that put Usyk down was clean no doubt, and it was slightly more above the belt-line too. Dubois continued to the body Usyk did not like it at all, even looking at the ref...as if to say this is not the plan help me! Then Dubois gets hit with some pillow shots and gave up!
