I saw this on TV in 1975, I'll never forget it and I never wanted to miss it because of Jerry Judge. He went to Father Judge High School in Northeast Philadelphia. I was there in 9th and 10th grade and Judge had a big reputation, he fought all the time and mostly I can remember him sucker punching people but when he suckered people it was over. Not to mention he went out for football one year and made all Catholic as a wide receiver. He eventually became the police commissioner for Bensalem police department in Bucks County PA.
I don't miss nothing about him. The fact that he called Joe Frazier's son to apologize to him, rather than apologize to Joe himself, tells you what you need to know

Charlie Green was in the audience eating hot dogs and drinking a beer with his girlfriend as a spectator. They asked Charlie to suit up and he did and put Jose down 2x in the first round. Class prevailed as Torres came back in the second to KO Charlie but the bout got charlie another main event at MSG against Floyd patterson.
People throw around the term “cans” all the time to belittle certain boxers, but anybody fighting 5 guys in one sitting is going to have a difficult time. This is a Herculean feat and only someone like Foreman could have accomplished this!
