Looks like im not the only one with this train of thought! Im in the middle of a similar build on a 1997 EC 4x4 5.7 Z71 work truck build. She is sitting on 20x9s/-12 offset with LT275/60R20s and does NOT rub at all. He's a little off on his metric-standard conversion (275/60R20=33"x10.8" overall size). This is the biggest tire IMHO that you can run and not completely kill your MPG. Not to mention that these tires are a little bit more affordable. 20X9 Wheels is also a better choice over 20x10s because you are a lot less likely to hit the lip of your rims on curbs & rocks. I'm doing a 6" knuckle lift and running it at 4" by NOT cranking the torsion bars and running add-a-leafs instead of blocks in the rear. This setup will allow for almost stock ball joint & CV-Axle angles for longevity, durability, performance and a really nice ride over bumpy streets & rough terrain. I've been building vehicles for 30yrs and have done my homework. If you want a tough, durable & comfortable truck with a bit of an aggressive stance that is ready to work, hit trails and ride across the country with comfort & reliability.......... Im not a Mandalorian but- THIS IS THE WAY!
What’s really crazy is the fact that is really hard to find this type of set up videos. Am like yea I already know 20x12s rub lol but thanks to those videos I basically narrow it down to the 20x9 being the sweet spot, 275 tires look wide enough in my opinion too, right now am still debating between either 60 or 65,
Quick question if I put a motofab or a RC leveling kit on my pro4x titan what else do I need to make proper angles and drive? Ex....change control arm?
Was thinking the same. I'm 2.5" leveled, nothing done to the rear. 20x12 -44 on 33s and my truck looks like it sits identical to this one. On a side note, the drawers in the rear... yeah... you're not putting a 7 foot fishing pole in a 5'8" bed.
What are yall doing to calculate tire size from metric to standard. I have 275/60r20 nitto terra grapplers also on my truck so only difference is tread it's the same brand and size and yet there is no way mine is a 33.5 and 11.5 it's a 33 and 10.8 according to all the tire calculators I've used.
I live in Montana and get some brutal winters here as well so what's the pros and cons to the exo's? I was set on getting the ridge grappler for the hybrid and the 125 load index for my 2500HD but I'm curious on these now.
I have the Exos on my Tundra and they are hands down the best tire I’ve had. Great snow traction, and still good off-road. I had Trail and Mud Grapplers on my last truck and the Exos have surpassed all expectations. I’ve got 41k miles on my set and they are at ~9/32nds, so just below half tread.
The Exos are a fairly decent tire for the price! As are the Nitto Ridge Grapplers! Dont think you could go wrong either way but the Ridge Grapplers are our personal favorite and perform very good in almost all conditions! bit.ly/2IPxTlR
Jack I was wondering that too. I’m guessing he owns two pieces. A better option IMO would be to use the Decked bins to store tackle boxes n other gear. I hope he doesn’t keep the rods n reels in the bins 24/7. They’ll get beat to hell if that truck is a daily driver

@@CustomOffsetsTV why do you guys not recommend it? I just ordered 275/60r20 nitto nt420v's on 20x10 moto metals with -24 offset for my 2016 ram sport 1500. Would you recommend going with the 305/50r20 nittos? If so, why please? Thanks
Need some help!!! I want black emblems on my 2018 Nissan Frontier, thing is my emblems are attached to my tailgate by double sided tape. How do I get the emblems off so I can paint them? My only other option is to plasti dip and peel off around all the books and crannies of the lettering.
Like what's the point of a 4 inch lift if you still have to do trimming with only fitting a .5 to .75 inch taller tire then stock. So ridiculous. This is what's gonna probably keep me from lifting my sierra
You typically need to put a lot of lift in GMs to get some height out of them. But thats why some of our largest kits we sell are for Chevrolet and GMC trucks! You can check out our suspension kits here! customoffsets.com/suspension
@@CustomOffsetsTV I know now the new body style they did better for lifts but they screwed everyone on brake clearance lmao. Just never can get an easy lift kit. You guys recommend body lifts for larger tire clearances? Had a 3 inch body lift on my 96 3/4 ton GMC and I didn't have the torsion keys cranked all the way and it never rubbed at full crank
GM after gm after gm. Once in a while a Ford. Do more ram videos. I know you guys dont like Rams but the rest of us do. Especially the 19 rams that are far better and nicer then anything else
GM is very popular in the truck community and many people own GM vehicles, we dont all hate the Dodge/Ram vehicles or any specific brand for that matter. Many people at our shop like the Ram trucks even though Fuller isnt too fond of them himself. But the way we see it is as long as you are in a truck you like and you make it your own and make it different to reflect your personality, brand can not even be closely relate-able to the amount of passion behind the truck enthusiast.

Damn, I’m must be getting close to grandpa status, I like the cap and the functionality of the racking system inside. Nice build!
I bought a camper for my first truck, a 99 tacoma, I think I was the only teenager in high school with a camper lol

Yup I’m getting old because this actually useful truck really does it for me.
I'd say out of everyone who talks on this show banker has the best voice
Yup, it's all about the Overland clubs now. Good job CO you're right on target now. ;)
YES! Exactly what I'm saving for on my 15 Z71!
🤙🤙
For a GMC it looks pretty good
The all black looks is pretty nice as well 👌
His build actual helps me with my new truck I got 33x12.50/20 on it and I want to down grade tire size
Dang all murdered out black nice build

@@CustomOffsetsTV right on. Thanks!
If he had went with a -24 offset instead of a -19 offset, he likely would not be rubbing on the frame at full lock.
Buddy definitely doesn’t put any rods in those 5 foot truck bed boxes 😂

6.5' box!
Custom Offsets most serious fisherman have rods from 6’6” to 7’6”.
That what the 4 doors are for. Just put the poles inside
And once piece rods !
It’s perfect 👌🏿
Would that setup, work without the 4” lift? Currently running a 2.5 level, and dig that setup!
You can search here with the specs you are trying to run and it will help with fitment questions! www.customwheeloffset.com/search-wheel-offset-gallery
Sweet.
275/60/r20 is 33.0”x10.8”
And you only need a 2” lift for that.
Can this lift work on a Denali

Wym
So is it ok to do 275/60r20 on a 10” wheel?
cdiaz1257 We wouldn’t recommend doing that, that size works better on a 9in wise wheel. A better size would be 305/50/20.
But it works correct? On the video it seems it does
cdiaz1257 it may work but it is not recommended
I wish one of these folks would answer this question like a bro and not like some company man reading the rule book.

Not exactly sure!
Camper tops only look good when it has a rack on top, with an LED bar

You could tape off or another thing weve seen people do is buy new emblems, paint those and take the old ones off!
Use fishing line, drag it right under your emblem. You'll have to reapply your double sided tape afterwords, but it's not that difficult.
Thanks for the input!! Will certainly try it.
