- Fabtech’s 4″ Basic systems utilize their proven heavy duty construction and design features found in their 6″ systems but with less lift for use with 33″ tall tires. These 4″ systems feature high arched lower control arm crossmembers constructed of 1/4″ thick steel for maximum strength. The Fabtech ductile iron steering knuckles retain the stock track width keeping tires under the fender for a clean appearance. Rear lift is accomplished with a block and u-bolt configuration.

The Basic System includes front coilover spacers that utilize the factory coilover shocks and rear Performance shocks, which the customer opted to upgrade with Fox Shocks

I really liked how you explained what parts are being upgraded, how other brands use basically the same parts, and that its better to go to a 4 than a 3.5. Vs other channels that just throw a lift on with no added info.

You guys should really look into the 4.5 inch cst lift for the 2014 2018 gm trucks.

I would like too see what a 4” lift looks like on a 2012 Silverado with tires 285/55/20 the stock size is 275/55/20 I believe
My 2011 silverado 1500 crew cab has stock 265 70 17

If I’m going to put a 4 in. lift, 20 in. rims, and 35 in. tires on my 2021 Chevy Silverado Custom, is it going to rub? Or should I downsize on tires. I’m trying to determine what to do before adding them.

Hello Andrew,
The main reason you would want to put on a kit this size is to avoid that rubbing and trimming for a larger sized combo. This lift is going to help you avoid having any further modifications on 22s and bigger as well as anything under 22s. As well we have numerous options for lifts and levels that vary in installation time, add-ons and numerous other variables! Does this lift increase the front track width?
Probably, since I see the bigger steering knuckles in this kit.
@@KennysLyfe Usually compensated by a rear spacer... high country trim with performance lift package im sure isnt concerned with an extra $500
The biggest problem with this model 14-18 is the UCA'S are useless when lifted. Be safe!

Will this kit work on a 2wd? If so does the frame need to be cut also since there’s no dif. Drop?

Will this same kit work on 2wd truck? Seen that its listed as compatible with 2wd models but do you still use all the drop brackets amd everything being that there is no front differential?

Yes you could! That wouldn't be a problem!
Air bags would eliminate the “going all the way down in the back” tons of kits out there that aren’t so bad on the wallet

If this build had them initially rubbing on the flaps they would have trimmed or completely taken them off. It would be noted on the specific build if there was any rubbing on the mudflaps.

The_Safe_Haven no, stock high countries don’t have magneride. You have to get the high dessert package to get magneride in that year of Silverado.

got 6 inch fabtech on a 2015 it did not wide front track no spacers needed

I’ve heard bad things about the 4 inch tho so I’m going with zone 4.5”
The issues are with the budget UCA uniball kits, which are essentially stretched out leveling kits. No issues to report with the actual Performance knuckle lift kits. Hope this helps!

Can I fit a Bilstein 5100 maxed out at 1.75" instead of using the strut spacer? Or would that not be big enough or not compatible?
What are you trying to clear?
Extreme Customs im going try to avoid using the ugly strut spacers.
That shouldn't be a problem!
Keneaux the Bilstein 5100 offers a 1.75” lift and the strut spacer has 4” of lift so if you did swap them, the Bilstein setup wouldn’t be as high. You’d need a 2.25” strut spacer to be used with the Bilstein at the highest 1.75” setting.

That is not a 4 inch kit. That strut space is Huge! It may say that but the total lift had to be over 6 inches.

The truck has a rake from factory. The strut spacer needs to be taller to accommodate for that. The rear was lifted 4" but the front was probably lifted 6-7" something like that
Go to a Rough Country! 6 inch or 7.5 lift A lot cheaper and quality parts
