Another one of David Moyes's top signings. I've never seen anyone who can control the ball so good with his chest. The Man Utd 2012 opening game when we beat them 1-0 he played them off the park that night
One of the most underrated EPL midfielders of all time
Yes, if only because his qualities as a striker were more newsworthy. His fast feet could take the ball off most players, dribble around them and keep the ball until there was a forward pass available.
This EFC nostalgia week is great. Remember when we had a team which could challenge for a Champions League place?
@@charliecroker7005 Yeah, in 2013/14 season we were 5th. With new manager, after Moyes left for United, we were really amazing. If only we had more luck with that last minute Terry goal in Chelsea away game or that 2 own goals against Saints or even in that shocking home defeat against Palace, we would have been in that Top 4 spot surely

I was thinking the EXACT same thing.
You can't not love Screech! He had such a good song too. When he moved I was sad to lose him but also really saddened by the stick he took from United fans when he was actually doing a good job for them.
I want curly hair too
I hate to mention this but Screech died about 2 years ago.
@@yellow9349 Dustin Diamond died in February 21 of cancer, and that's tragic. Screech is a character though, and immortal.
Fellaini actually won the United fans round in the end. In his first season he took lots of stick off them but he was quality throughout his time at Everton. We missed him when he left.

He was brilliant for us I loved him. He has also been well spoken you can how much loved his time at Everton and untied.
I actually think he hated his time at United when JoMo left as did so many of those other players who Ole dropped.
Couldn't stop smiling throughout the interview. Fantastic player for us.

For some reason, I fucking love this guy. Multi-faceted. The kind of player every team needs but teams think he is a throwback to an earlier time. Marouane, we need you to /slot in defensive midfield/behind the striker/centre half/get on the end of a cross. He was a massive weapon in his day. More than just an aerial player, he was a skilled midfielder and created a lot of goals. 6'4 in his socks, 6'10 to top of fro. Noticeable to a teammate with the ball who puts his head up.
Sad to see him leave, Wanted him to be successful Always gonna be a fan .

Met fellaini twice once in HMV not long after his goal for us against United, another after we beat Fulham at home 4-0 in executive box after match really nice fella and very underrated player gutted when he left
Played United off the pitch in 2012, was a great player for us and underrated by a lot of fans across the premier league
great interview really interesting
First came to my attention when he tormented Liverpool and owned Steven Gerrard in those two Champions League qualifiers back in August 2008.
I was thinking at the time "I wish Moyesie would take a punt on that fella"
Two weeks later we bought him for what turned out a £15 million bargain, absolute cult hero and we should have won that 2009 FA Cup with a bit more luck with the injuries, may just have happened.
Really really good player for Everton.
