I found big vaccum leaks where throttle shafts work. Did anyone disasembled throttle? Can't find any information on the web about rebuilding this part of carbs

Good info, but a little hard to see some parts, but that goes with the job. Is it right the valves shims, need to be checked every 4K miles ?
Was thinking of buying one, they sell real cheap, and seem to be a good bike, just not very powerful, but that is ok, it's for other family members to ride with me, and I want to be faster then them. lol ------Thanks, yl

I have a 2004 GS500F. Today it just started to stall when I put it in Choke. If I leave it OFF choke it is fine and runs great. When I switch it to Choke it stalls out and won't start. Normally it will start and run great and climb to 4000 RPM and then I back it off choke and it will idle perfectly. Any suggestions on what happened? Thanks!

Will my 06 gs 500f run if I just plug all the vacuum hoses on the carbs? Because I can't seem to route them correctly without buying a manual.

I had the same issue on my 2005 if you are using the factory frame mounted petcock and have all of your vacuum hoses hooked up correctly then you may need to dissasemble your petcock and clean the internals. My issue was the vacuum hose that is connected to the rear of the petcock that opens and closes a valve in the petcock that allow gas to only flow when the engine is running anyway the valve was sticking and allowing gas to continue to flow into the carb until it would leak from the air box.

What a waste of a video. Nobody knows what he's doing. What screw did he turn? How many turns? Which direction? Next video. Perhaps put a little more detail into what all you are doing. Because honestly, you showed EVERYTHING, how to disassemble most of the fuel system and lines. But how do you adjust the carbs?
