My Maternal Aunt is a psychopath (secondary, ASPD with religious OCD)(diagnosed), she loves to abuse everybody around her verbally and sometimes physically. Because of her abuse, my grandmother died of severe depression(diagnosed). My aunt's husband died of overdrinking/cirrhosis without any child She acquired all the property from her husband and parents(after my grandfather's natural death). My mother did not claim any property to save her little sister. But her abuse did not end. She now abuses her neighbors and damages their properties just out of jealousy. Now, she has her eyes on us, and she tries to visit us to gain monetary benefits from us and tries to abuse us as everyone left her. I can feel, in her mind, she tries to achieve my mother's position by eliminating my mother( her elder sister). Very very dangerous person. Can do anything to gain power and property. Do not care about her family members or her loved ones. It's like closed ones are her biggest enemies. From her childhood, she was always jealous of her elder sister. If parents praised her elder daughter, the younger daughter started crying and would get violent on her parents. In my childhood, I watched my grandmother saying to my aunt " Why are you doing this? Am I the only mother to u? Is she not my child too? Why are you so jealous". Because of my aunt, I was not able to visit my grandparents house as a child. She is that much jealous. My aunt did not allow to spend my grandparent's own money when they were terminally ill. She loves money.

Outstanding, awesome, entlightening! The more one delves into this topic the more obvious it becomes that there is basically very little to no real reseach beeing done about the everyday psychopath next door. From an energetic point of view I would like to point out, that these people have a very unique aura and a very unique energy field. It kind of sucks you in (at least they try to do so), once you are in it you see that everything is grey, empty. Nothing is real, nothing is alife.
Psychopaths remind me of still-lifes od people or a painting of food: nothing is real. They do not know what real life is like. Everything is fake and the only language their brain was able to develop is that of pretending to be something rather than someone. Whenever I encounter a psychopath, I feel a certain emptyness, a deadness even, that surrounds these people. They "smell" like dead matter. I do not judge, I simple stay away. Still, one has to clearly say that these people cannot be "cured". That is important for empaths or other people with a tendency to safe others (which in iself is never a good idea...) because that is something the psychopath will feed into once he or she has decided that you are their next wishful target. They try to find your weak spots in order to use them against you.
One can also say we can be very thankful for these kind of people because they make you very much aware you your triggers, your spots that need healing, they can help you learn setting boundaries and so on. It actually is very sad to see, but these people cannot be safed/healed and I assume they wish nothing like that anyway.

For the past month, I've been binge-watching Sam Vaknin's videos and have become convinced that my father, brother, and sister are narcissists. It's quite obvious. However, my brother has exhibited certain behaviors towards me throughout his entire 33 years that have deeply and intensely hurt me. I've been repeatedly traumatized, always wanting to look up to my big brother, seeking his validation, hoping he would recognize me as the amazing little brother I always wanted to be. Instead, I received punishment, pain, suffering, and a complete lack of interest in any of the horrible feelings I experienced. There's been a complete lack of empathy from him, unlike my sister and father, who could still somehow show some degree of empathy, however shallow.
My brother has never truly felt sorry for the horrible hurt and pain he caused me throughout my life. But I was always confused. I thought he was a narcissist because I was certain he did not enjoy hurting me. I could never sense that he actually derived pleasure from my pain. I knew that sadism is a telltale sign of a psychopath, which is why I assumed he was a narcissist. But now, after considering Sam Vaknin's explanations, it makes sense. Vaknin explains that the sadism in psychopaths isn't necessarily about enjoying the act of hurting others, but rather seeking to understand themselves better, to gain power, confidence, understanding, and control through the harm they inflict.
Viewed in this light, everything my brother has done makes complete sense. I could never understand how he could do these things and not feel bad or sorry, especially as I am extremely sensitive and highly empathetic. But here I am, at the age of 31, finally understanding why the people around me have been so mean. Thanks to Mr. Vaknin's teachings, I now understand the nature of the sickness around me. I am extremely grateful that he makes this highly complex material so easily digestible for someone like me, who merely seeks to understand the toxicity around himself. Thank you very much.
