Hey, Aussie. I dunno if you'll read this late comment. Hope you're doing well. I thought I'd mention something that I found useful back in 2017. If you're in a tough situation in this quarantine zone, you can use the bow to shoot an explosive arrow to the other side of the room to generate sound. This will attract the volatiles to that area giving you an opportunity to relocate. To avoid hitting any of them, I recommend aiming towards the corner ceiling (if you have not used survivor sense to mark them already). Although I can't be sure this is 100% necessary since people can normally just use firecrackers, camouflage, or spend 5 minutes to understand Volatile AI. It saved me that one time when I was still learning the game and I haven't seen anybody mention this. To "that guy" who will probably comment here if I don't include this: Yes, it work with crossbow as well but I only tried impact bolts.
i cannot actually believe that i went through this zone and completed it on NIGHTMARE difficulty. i must have been goated with the sauce back then because jumping back into it a little less than a year later i feel weak sauce. 😂😂😂
Idk of it works only for me but I just found a bug. When you start a new game (or a new game plus) normally, it's impossible for you to meet a volatile so I think the game "deactivate" volatile but with this challenge, you can met volatile and if you get caught by one of them, it won't fail. It's Thursday, the 16th of December 2021.

I’m on Story Mode for this, which is the easiest difficulty in the game. I’m also late game so I have the best weapons and items for this. As for hitting enemies without alerting enemies, I’m not sure why they’re alerted for you.
