Oh shit no wonder my weapons kept electricuting every zombie I hit including the Alpha volatiles which they couldn't move at all and I killed then easily I never knew that
I can tell you've done this an absolute insane number of times just with how naturally you go thru it all I'm not expecting to do even remotely the same level of finesse but that's what practice is all about
tip: if you do decide to play with friends, the timer is less but if multiple people open chests and for example you picked everything out of every chest, the loot is still there for the other people. so if 4 people open 4 chests in 30 sec you will have 4 golden weapons and the other people too. i use this alot because with multiple, people you can do this very quickly.
TIP:after looting do not open the red door to finish the prison quest. Instead throw a grenade and kill yourself you will despawn at the start of the armoury with no timer. You can use it to grab ammunition.
It’s nice to see someone who actually utilizes the survival sense! Most RUclips videos I’ve watched they don’t use it. I love using it I spam the button like you :) seeing enemies through walls, idk why people aren’t using this.

Thanks for the guide. I cleared in 22 minutes on Nightmare because of this. Got stuck at a few parts and referenced this video. Got my first Night Hunter Booster from this.
Quick tip for anyone who can’t do nightmare mode. Hard mode is actually pretty easy and I’ve gotten guru rewards every single time and got 25 gold weapons in 1 day. You should just bring a lot of resistance boosters and cloak potions and flares cuz they run out quick if you can’t lock pick or kill fast
You certainly know what you're doing I used this exact same method for 2 runs the first one was actually the first time I'd done this and it worked like a charm this was really helpful I just wish I got a few less fantasy weapons.
For new players: Cloak potion blueprint can be get only in quest with Dahilla in a bazar and when you drink this potion zombies will be ignore you so this is really OP
The first time I did the prison heist it took me almost 2 hours cuz of how tanky the demolishers are. I only managed to bring em all down with a hybrid of an electric fire axe and the Ox cannon. I probably need better gear and it was hard as hell but it was super fun
My friends and I just played the game recently, we got to do this in nightmare at 9-10 mins. We are composed with an aggro player, a sharpshooter and a lockpicker. It's a plus if one of you guys is a comdian lol, really a fun game!
in my opinion it is faster to drink a cloak potion before killing each of the demolishers so that u can just oneshot them and have no stress :))) but I completely agree with the rest of the vid btw thx for the tip with resistance boosters I forgot about this stuff haha great video, keep it up x3
Just FYI, you weren't wrong when you said "in the magazine". The semi auto shotgun does have a magazine, just not a detachable magazine like most of the other guns. Great guide!
Okay so I used to be nuts at this game, was my main game for years and I’ve just visited it again but instead of pc I’m playing on my steam deck and it’s amazing however I’ve started playing obviously on controller rather than my keyboard and mouse on my pc, but yeah regardless of how good I was and how much I loved doing speed runs watching this now being on my steamdeck it shows that you my friend are fucking insane!! Hopefully you still play this legendary game!!
Definately be giving Prison Heist another go. Struggled when I played it last year on Xbox. On PC now, so this shouldn't be too difficult now (this game honestly plays better with M+KB, for me at least).

Lmao I played this for the first time yesterday. For context I’m only like Survivor level 10ish. The mission took me an hour and 10 mins and had I zero ammo for the fight with the fat dudes at the end. I died a lot. Got to the armoury, looted the lockers first. By the time I noticed the the big chests I had 30 seconds left. I then died as the timer ran out, losing a white-tier axe that I looted. Best 1hr spent ever
Even with the highest damage crossbow in the game, a Goon will always survive 1 headshot on Nightmare NG+ But yeah crossbows are rather strong since they're also using craftable ammo
And I'm running through this with about $4000, no medkits, about 15 ninja stars, and a samurai sword with lightning damage. I am severely underprepared.
Also I use pistols or bows because of the stun. I also use it because they are so easy to fine. I also figured out that spamming grenades at the demolisher is a good method
if you run out of ammo on the last stage you can use your fists if your at least legend level 25 and have every point into melee damage as if i remember they do about 8k damage fully maxed out

I though you HAD to kill everything and weren't allowed to use guns at all, ever .. it was taking forever.. still haven't beaten it and I've tried like 5 times. Always make it to the yard with the 2 big dudes, die 50 times and give up from sheer annoyance. Time for a re-do
I had 0 knowledge about the Prison, have completed the story about 20%. I thought, Lets try this game mode. Man!! It was a nightmare, I didn't knew where to go, What to kill, How many rooms are remaining. It took me over a hour and a half to to do it in Normal Diff. :)
@@kushagraaagnihotri1081 lol this just happened to me, i ran out of ammo by the time i got to the volatile room and man, i just kept dying. I thought maybe I just sucked. Then by the time I got to the loot room I didnt even know there was boxes so I just left with a bit more ammo I came in with xD

Yeaa,, I went here in the middle of the story mode and actually completed it, I was fighting with bow, AR with 250 damage which I ran out of bullets and electric pipe... I won hehe
I did this, died like 3-4 times, and at the end once I saw the minute timer I just ran out immediately and by the time I GOT TO THE DOOR it said I had a minute to get the loot. I hadn’t played in like almost a week and I still think about this

great guide! I've got a question though about the guru award or time is it that the more time you take longer the more the reward or completion will decrease? like if I completed it in 10 minutes or more does the reward also lessen?
As long as it's Guru it's always the same reward. But if you take too long, you'll start dropping into lower tiers like Master reward, Adept reward etc.

So I just started game and finished the prologue. I see theres a objective by the water, I go to find a boat saying “hold to go to prison.” Me not thinking anything of it, I go. I see its a whole new area and thought maybe I can get through this, hopefully it won’t take long. HAAAAAA!!!! My weapons are like wrenchs and planks with nails lol. I managed to kill a guy with a gun and that got me through till the end somehow, but I ran out of ammo. It was just me and those two huge charging zombies left. All I had left with a plank with nails that did like 20 damage. I knew I wasn’t going to kill them so I just quit unfortunately.
Yea... Probably should not have touched this in my first playthrough before reaching old town... I haven't even saved Dr.Zere nor have I killed a volotile yet. Wtf did I do? Nicked thier rifle, tried to use my double barrel is pistol to little effect. Basically, blasting when I can't run and run when I can run. Since camouflage is worthless and I still haven't get the cloak potion yet, it proved pretty fucking hard. Spent 1 hour and a half in total of that torturous hell. Ye, it's normal mode, but trying playing this with avg 15 fps. Dodging the demolishers and power melee them at the right moment is a pain. Oh! Did I mention THEY RESPAWN IF YOU TAKE TOO LONG?! The swarm of Virals will respawn. What loot did I get? A merciless baseball bat... It's listed as common rarity but 208 dmg a hit. With a minute to pick, I only managed to open 1 box.
Bro try Hunter resistance it's compatible during the night and if you chasing by a volatile your skill will boost effectively and can fight harder and longer
There are actually (Just so you know for future runs) 7 hard locked chests in the Prison armory. There are 4 in the middle. The 5th is behind you against the wall where you just entered the chest room. And the 6th and 7th chest(s) and against the shelves infront of you on the other far side of the room. :)

Big tip: the dragons breath bow one shots demolishers and I have the bow at 10/25 upgraded in the legend level up

Also, a well placed Crossbow bolt in the head can kill a Demolisher and Goon instantly. At least on the lower difficulties.

Another trick 😅 :- When you enter the area of 2 demolisher, drink clock potion. Then Use Bow. You just need 2 headshots with bow for 1 demolisher.

Hey just wanted to ask how can you get golden guns? I have a shit ton of gold melee weapons but never seen a gold gun
BTZ rewards can sometimes give you gold guns after finishing a match, as long as you’re at least Underdog rank or higher.

Gold guns can be earned (randomly) from Be The Zombie matches as a human

So I just started game and finished the prologue. I see theres a objective by the water, I go to find a boat saying “hold to go to prison.” Me not thinking anything of it, I go. I see its a whole new area and thought maybe I can get through this, hopefully it won’t take long. HAAAAAA!!!! My weapons are like wrenchs and planks with nails lol. I managed to kill a guy with a gun and that got me through till the end somehow, but I ran out of ammo. It was just me and those two huge charging zombies left. All I had left with a plank with nails that did like 20 damage. I knew I wasn’t going to kill them so I just quit unfortunately.

Yea... Probably should not have touched this in my first playthrough before reaching old town... I haven't even saved Dr.Zere nor have I killed a volotile yet.
Wtf did I do? Nicked thier rifle, tried to use my double barrel is pistol to little effect. Basically, blasting when I can't run and run when I can run. Since camouflage is worthless and I still haven't get the cloak potion yet, it proved pretty fucking hard.
Spent 1 hour and a half in total of that torturous hell.
Ye, it's normal mode, but trying playing this with avg 15 fps. Dodging the demolishers and power melee them at the right moment is a pain. Oh! Did I mention THEY RESPAWN IF YOU TAKE TOO LONG?! The swarm of Virals will respawn.
What loot did I get? A merciless baseball bat... It's listed as common rarity but 208 dmg a hit. With a minute to pick, I only managed to open 1 box.
Pro tip: Do not see the red loot timer and just leave in a panic not claiming any of the loot you worked for like an idiot LOL
Bro try Hunter resistance it's compatible during the night and if you chasing by a volatile your skill will boost effectively and can fight harder and longer

I do prison with my cousin on normal we do run for 3 minuts on normal and open all 5 creates in 40 seconds

There are actually (Just so you know for future runs) 7 hard locked chests in the Prison armory. There are 4 in the middle. The 5th is behind you against the wall where you just entered the chest room. And the 6th and 7th chest(s) and against the shelves infront of you on the other far side of the room. :)
