I also thoroughly enjoyed watching you dismantle Leon's Bowser about a year ago. I played Brawl in college, and Kirby was my favorite then too. @@notisma5956 no, Kirby is way to slow to consistently and efficiently pull off rushdown style gameplay. If he was fast he would be a good rushdown character, but with his speed, he plays better with a bait and punish play style.
Your story is very similar to mine! Started in Brawl as a hapless child, and I found Kirby funny and easy. My friend played Sonic, and so my favourite thing was to get Homing Attack and spam that until everyone else decided to gang up on me. Then, my love for Kirby persisted through Smash 4 and Ultimate, and even though I dropped him for a while and he's only a secondary now, he's still got such a special place in my heart.
I love Kirby (my main), and I learned a lot more of what he can do from watching you. Love him because he has unique mechanics, great offstage (which is a requirement for me), he's got weaknesses and always feels like an underdog. Great combo potential
When I first played Brawl for the first time when I was 5 years old, I was looking at the character roster and I saw Kirby and I immediately felt in love with him because he looks like the cutest being of all time, he immediately became my Main in the entire Smash Bros. Series. And because I loved him so much, I wanted to play my first Kirby game, and it was Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. I was very bad at that game when I was younger. And my second Kirby game was Kirby: Mass Attack on the demo and I like it a lot and then I watched so much of Kirby: Right Back at Ya and I watched it so much when I was younger. And that’s pretty much my story of why Kirby is my favourite Nintendo character of all time. Kirby is the best and I love you being the best Kirby player in Smash, Jejajeja.

5:16 this reminds me when my friend invited me to his house to play on the switch, and we we're gonna play smash, and he told me his lil bro was so good. fun fact: the lil bro only mashes sonic's neutral B. so i destroyed him also i may say im godlike at ultimate's kirby because i win almost every cpu match at difficulty 9. although seeing ur clips... yeah
Kirby was way better in brawl than ultimate because they took away his combo game, i remember watching gonzo combo video and mastering every combo including making my own combos, i first started going to offline tourneys when brawl was in its prime meeting patG (pro zero suit) cheese (ic main) brawl was different...
He ACTUALLY had a better combo game in Sm4sh, as someone who labbed the shit out of Sm4sh Kirby, I can confidently say he has a better combo game in that game than ultimate
I main Kirby in ultimate ny reasoning was "this is the ultimate smasg game i should learn to play my mains from every previous game" so I have 5 mains in this game due to that Kirby in 64 Pichu in melee (it was impressive back before he was busted) Olimar in brawl Wario in 4 And Aegis in ultimate But thanks to my reasoning my Kirby has become pretty nasty not Jeja levels but still not bad

There is no other good Kirby player to watch. + every time I go on your channel you're playing with friends randubs with items or some weird thing like that and I can't even hear you over all of the banter LOL. Your Kirby is god like and you're doing aspiring Kirby players a disservice by Having "fun" WutFace. 😀

kirby IS a rushdown character right ? you're fast, great frame data, but no range or projectile so you need to get up close...

Brawl Kirby was sick. One of the few characters in Brawl with a real combo game, and it was so cool.
