The Kaine Scarlet Spider book was awesome, I don't know why it resonated so much for me but that book genuinely was one of my favorite pulls back in the day. I really, really hope that whatever weirdness is going to happen with him and "Chasm," it doesn't regress the character.
42:03 for what it's worth, for as long as I've read monthly comics I've followed ASM, and this run was bad enough to actually make me drop it. I gave it the first year (~25 issues, whenever the Ms. Marvel, Paul/MJ stuff had its climax) to give it a fairer shake than it deserved. After that, I just couldn't continue to do it to myself anymore.
