Im breeding my koi for last 3 years every year my 1 female lay eggs in May month, but this time she didn't lay eggs . I add 2 males and 1 female 3 times it was successful but what's the reason she didn't lay her eggs ? Please reply does she lost her quality to breeding ?
I'd love to see how you manage your newly hatched koi's development. do you put them into smaller groups? How do you keep them from eating the smaller fry? What is their diet? etc.
I would love to see them! I haven't had koi in ages but I'm hoping to get a pond set up again next spring. I'll have all winter to study and get my plans made. Thanks!!@@UkKoiFish
Hi Yes this does have its benefits as it results in more eggs getting fertilised and many large koi farms use that method but it is quite difficult and I don’t have to facilities to do it effectively. Natural spawning is also more fun to watch

Hi it’s is possible that she may be egg bound which would mean she is unable to release them
what do you feed koi fry?
Crumb and daphnia
