Kids do not need “privacy”….. they do not get the full scope of adult rights in our society because they are not fully developed humans and they NEED guidance and protection.
Why is this even a discussion? Absolutely a parent should try to protect their children and a tracker is not an invasion of privacy. A parent should know where their child is at all times, and that is not controversial….
A parent shouldn’t read their child’s diary, but that’s about where the child’s privacy rights end in my opinion. Goodness…. We should be trying to find more ways to protect children, not demonizing the options parents have to feel a bit more comfortable in knowing their child is safe in todays crazy world….

It's a great idea, tracking your child to and from school. We need to use technology to make our lives easier and safer that's exactly what this does.

In the old days, other parents would report everything. Same idea.

I wouldn’t put it on the bag, the bag could get dumped. I’d pop it in a hidden pocket in the school blazer etc. totally agree with them!

It would have been good if they had been available, when the courts made me hand over my child to his father each fortnight and then he would take him the methadone clinic and hang out with the drug addicts in the mall as well as the time where he left my son at the race track..because in his drug addled state, he forgot my son was with him! Thank God the police contacted me. Yes, these tracking devices have a place for safety and protection, so do following the person not trusted and private eyes.
