dank für das geräusch video , ganz schön laut wenn er hochdreht. ich glaube aber leute die so fahren wollen greifen auch nicht zum auris.
Finde ihn garnicht so laut... da is unser Verso 2,2 D4D viel viel lauter. Gott sei dank wechseln wir zum Auris 2017
The consumption values given are only if you drive binary. I Drive 150 km each day- 5,4 l/100km on the Long run.
That’s the same as my Renault sport tourer 1.6 petrol
@@doddsalfa 120 km German Autobahn each day as I do?
@@doddsalfa Clio ST??
@@andruschka81 I get from 5 litres + (hypermile at 90 km ) to 7+ in city .Have driven few old Priuses and they have problem beating that
@@doddsalfa At 90 km/h 4.3. City same. Prius 2 already is lower as your car‘s consumption. But ok...as we say in Germany: Es kann nicht sein, was nicht sein darf.
Noise level is comparable to VW Golf or Skoda octavia. Not as quiet as Passat but offcourse Camry is quieter than Passat. Definitely quiter than Yaris or Polo but not as quiet as Golf. CVT on Hybrid is way more reliable than DSG or any dualclutch that Toyota abandon in 2020. Many Hybrid runs more than 500K Km without problems, only battery may need replacement in about 13-15 years but it is not that costly either. €2300 total new replacement from Toyota Dealer and it is nothing compared to DPF, turbo leaks, burned intake valve in many direct injected Turbo engines in less than 200k Km.
Be fair to the turbo engines... we had a 1.9 tdi with dpf .. 400000km .. sold because of a few rust spots :D.. engine was running still with no problems
they know how to make tsi engines...:))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
@@Semicolonos I talked about statistical number in new TDI or TSI engine, not special cases. The old TDI has no DPF filter and damn reliable. Turbo was supplied by Mitsubishi, they are also reliable but not under abused of most American car owners. I am talking about gasoline Turbo engines, they are not as reliable as non Turbo VW.
@@alexxandreipopescu208 Yes, better than the rest of European cars. not comparable to Toyota Turbo engines, or Mazda. TSI injectors, and valves problems is very common statistically. Yet, stil the best from the worst european cars.
if you engage cruise control on 190 rpm drops significantly and eco meter is in eco range. Like that and you cant hear engine but if you drive it with your foot down it will scream
Hybrids doesn't perform so well on motorways especially when going uphill and under hard acceleration because of the e-cvt type transmission but they are the best for city driving
On long distance trips they are efficient too , I had done once from London to Bulgaria Black Sea and petrol cost was £150 only family of 4 plus luggage
why would this transmission be worse for acceleration?
It should actually be perfect for it because it keeps your engine at peak power from the beginning on and adjusts the gear ratio instead of a regular transmission that starts in a fixed gear ration and slowly revs up to the point of peak power.
@@Pixelplanet5 because noise and sense of speed
@@cbats1888 so overall no reasons it would be bad for acceleration just different noise and no being pushed into he seat because there are no shifts.
@@Pixelplanet5 it's not bad for acceleration, it's bad for comfortably accelerating. Going uphill and hear a ton of noise, is not good.
@@cbats1888 DC motors work best at low speed, you can use AC motor like in train to get high torque at higher RPM. Train used AC motor to get the maximum Torque at particular high speed. But the main problems for gasoline engine is from stop to 10 Km/h when the MPG dropped to 1-3 mpg, thats why all hybrid car used DC motor.
What equipment version is this? Is it quiet at 130 kph? Gas in the city?
I got the non-station regular version of it. There is no engine-noise when going 140-150km/h (which I do daily). Only when going up-hill and on cruise-control will you hear the engine sometimes. At high-speed all you hear is wind noise. That's all.
I drove it everyday in Autobahn, at recommended 130 Km/h, it is slightly quieter than Golf 1.4 TSI or Focus. Only the wind and tire noise I can hear, the engine is still not noticeably.
Thanx man! on Toyota Website they write: top speed is 175km/h, how did you reach the 196 km/h?
Is the acceleration 0 - 100 also by 11 Seconds?
its a normal thing that the top speed the manufacturer lists is lower than what you can do in reality.
my chevrolet cruze is supposed to go 200 kmh max but goes up to 220 if you give it enough time.
@Sam B I got myself an auris 1.8 I can measure for u but it's pretty impressing what the elektroboost can do even at high speeds it's beast for only 99hp combustion (which leads to a super solid longgiving engine too)
@@myleiikay807 If you have Touring sport, with 1.8L 2013 or newer, the Head Gasket is revised and pass 200 000 Km easily. The older one 2010-2012 are different case, the headgasket usually fail at about 200 000 Km, be prepare for finding cheap repair.
@@rondhole thanks man! mine is 2015 and had only around 30k on the clock when im got him, i mean her, its a she :D so far pretty happy for sure
@@myleiikay807 Statistically based on USA drivers, Most 1.8L Hybrid will go easily 200 000 Km miles or 320 000 Km without problems. You still need to clean the EGR valve at about 120k Miles and PCV valve. The Hybrid battery based on 2nd Gen Prius 2004-2009 will last 10-15 years, with any miles you want. In Florida, Texas, and hot zone, it last about 10-12 years, in milder zone Tennessee, Virginia, NewYork, etc. will last slightly longer than 12 years. I changed my 2006 Prius Battery in 2017 with 220k Miles. New battery cost $2500 installed, but I just put a used battery for $800, 1 year warranty and sell it for $3200. That $800 is exactly the money I saved by driving Prius instead of Nissan Altima 2002 in 1 year.
Mich würde interessieren wo die Autos her bekommst ? Und wie lange darfst du sie behalten? Sind echt tolle Video weiter so ! Vllt könntest du Mal nen Passat Variant 2.0 TDI 140PS Baujahr 2000 testen
Wer will so eine Mistgurke denn fahren? Wenn dann nur der 1,9er TDi
Nice Car 👍
und ????? was woltest du zeignen? das speed oder , verbracht?
would you recommend this car for travelling 3000km with 5 persons in it and 4 luggages?
Sure. I can't see why not. ;)
No, to small
It is doable, but I would recommend something bigger if you’re going with 5.
with 4 people and the 2 in the back should not be bigger than 170 cm.
Looks fast enogh for me
Actually those auris/yaris especially newer models and types are NOT AS LOUD AS AVERAGE. Its just your subjective impression due to the quitness until These 130kmh:)
I bought myself a very solid auris 1.8 hybrid 2015 yesterday and can confirm this even up to 150kmh , I rather have these " only" 99ps and yes if u hit the acceleration hard above 100 u hear the engine bit wouldn't that be the case for any car? I'm pretty impressed by the capacites for over taking (elektroboost) I'll get up to 30% off the insurance for safe drive tracking (anonymously^^) whilst driving a long lasting low consuming car pretty happy!
In fact the Auris Hybrid is _very_ quite overall!
In normal use it is so quite, that - just to give some examples - turning the AC-Fan completely off vs it running on the lowest setting makes an audible difference or you starting to notice the veeeery light grinding/sanding noise of your brake pads at light breaking, when the pads are just barely touching the disks...
It‘s almost too quiet 😅
One get‘s used to that quietness and I definitely do not wanna miss it in future
Its also not made for the autobahn - more so for city driving or ig up to 100kph like in many countrys (see japan)
David Guckenheimer that's a lie told too many times to fool people, this car is excellent in highways like every other car, I know because I I have one
Hallo.Trabant 601 bitte !
Ui, das wäre was. Weiß allerdings nicht woher ich einen auftreiben soll ;)
Was this re-uploaded or am I crazy
Can you try the Dacia Spring on German Autobahn? 👍😂
I'll look for it
Please can you do another video with Ford Fusion 1.4
Könntet Ihr Bitte mal Kia Ceed Fahren
the engine is way too loud...
Off course, it is 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine. Golf, Focus, or Octavia more less as noisy too. Get V6 Camry for quiet ride, quieter than C-class or 3 series BMW
.
Please try with Renault Megane II Cabriolet 2.0L Automatic 4 Speed Greetings from Chile
👍🏼
No gears ? Way too noisy
Its just because he is on full throttle all the time.
And yes, it doesn't have gears, but thats not the reason its that loud.
In fact, if he would be cruising it should be reasonably quiet.
Hallo!
VW Polo 6n2 bitte! :-)
Können Sie fahren?
Wir versuchen einen zu bekommen!
Nice acoustic confort....O_o
good video ...but a Toyota Hybrid , is not make for full speed on motorway ...not efficient but she can do it ! better for a calm driving the real philosophy for a hybrid car 😉
they are very loud inside ! i dont know why Toyota dont take care about this !?? They really suck at longer distance with annoying noise !!!!
And the conclusion is? Full Throttle is stupid ....... OMG!
Fährste halt mal in der Ostpark Straße
Its so sad when you cant reach 200km/h. But worst ist that at 160km/h family will start that its too loud. I'll stick to my Saab wagon for now...
Can't do a thing about wind noise. It's a cheap car anyways. When I'm in Germany I'm cruising between 160 and 180km/h due to traffic. I own an Toyota Auris Hybrid ^^
Yeah because a saab can reach 300 right?
Ill stick to my Kawasaki ninja for that matter.
Too noisy
Menudo ruidazo.
A waste of money...
You are a waste of money
Yeah...I've had mine since 2016, bought from official brand shop new, cost do far in service and such... Under 1500$, and that's controls, service and new tires. Probably the least cost car I've ever had in 20 years ..first was a Bmw E 34...lost 10k $ just on repairs.. this cost me 38000$ brand new
My old Fiat 500 is much less quite than this .
A poor auris that was bumped by a 500X 🤣🤣🤣
