Hi Julia, Thank you so much for your thoughtful message! I completely understand the frustration of feeling like progress is slow, especially when you've invested so much effort and time. But you're absolutely right-it's often those invisible, gradual steps that lead to the most meaningful results. In many ways, learning the violin beautifully mirrors life itself, reminding us that embracing a slower, more deliberate pace brings not only endurance but also deeper joy and fulfillment. Each note we play, each small improvement, reflects how patience and persistence can truly create something wonderful over time. Your videos are a testament to that dedication, and though the results might not always seem immediate, they’re surely building toward something bigger than we can yet see. I look forward to watching your latest tutorial and will be sure to leave a comment! Keep pushing through-you’re doing an amazing job! Warm regards, Morteza
Thank you for sharing not only your love for music but also the frustration of putting a good presentation together. I was away from home for the summer so my violin didn't get much attention which frustrated me. I am back at home now and will be playing every day. Yes the world does need more people who care. I am heartened by people like you. I continue to enjoy your humor.
I’m on vacation right now and can’t wait to get home to practice this! Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent and time to help others perfect the art of violin playing. ❤
Thank you very much for the educational videos for the violin. With your educational channel, I have gained great confidence in playing the violin. I was frustrated at the beginning of learning the violin, but with your encouragement for me and for everyone who learns the violin, if I knew how to speak English, I would become
Well, I’m not clean at the 100% yet, so I need to slow down, but I’m getting some nice overtones occurring. This is so much fun to play and there is huge scope for improvisation. Thank you so much for this video.
Maestro took the tape markings off the my violin neck…I’m always a “nudge” off even with my hands properly placed! I noticed your violin is marked; and know you don’t need them. What is your opinion…are they a help or a hindrance?
It's completely fine to use the tape markings or remove them, whatever helps you feel more comfortable. As long as your intonation and listening are improving, you're on the right track. Keep practicing, and you'll get there! 😊
Great question! Self-study with online tutorials, RUclips videos, and method books can help you advance, especially if you set clear goals and practice consistently. Joining a practice community or challenges is also super motivating. Of course, having a teacher, even for occasional check-ins, can make a big difference by giving you personalized guidance! Keep it up 😊
I just read your email so decided to check out your video. You play very well and it looks like so much fun to play that. I do have a question. Why are you playing fast? Meaning it looks like it's a eighth note, but it seems you're playing as if its a 32 note. I'm still learning how to read music so I wouldn't mind if you can explain why you're playing it fast. Or is that the correct way in how fast you play the note? Thanks
Hi Celina, thank you so much for your support, please check out the beginner version of Rush E here: ruclips.net/video/6fmAlaacr2A/видео.html. This video will have more explanation, regarding your question, it's called poco a poco accelerando which means speed up slowly. I hope this helps, if you have other questions, please feel free to ask. Enjoy your practice 😊
@@Violinspiration Turns out I basically already knew this, it was a fairly common shred metal/neoclassical guitar thing from the late 80's. Alternate picking, etc. As far as the violin goes, it's tuned upside down, and 50 years of ingrained muscle memory make it nearly impossible to do something like this. Then there is the whole bow thing. The 5ths (upside down) tuning of the violin puts the notes naturally under the fingers, but when you shift strings, the notes are a whole step off. I bought a mandolin, but all that did was land me in a country band for a couple of years before I got tired of all the chickens, moonshine, and flying beer pitchers. I am a rock/jazz player-civilized. I've been trying to figure out a 4ths tuning for the violin, but no luck. I enjoy your videos, and have learned a good bit about bow hold, and you are the one I watch when I want something peaceful, and not overly technical or flashy. Plus you have great tone. 🐱
@@cnilecnile6748 Sounds like you've had quite the musical journey! 🎶 Tuning challenges can be tricky, but it’s great to hear you're exploring so many options. Thanks for the kind words about the videos, it means a lot! Keep rocking and experimenting, and I hope that perfect 4ths tuning will click one day for you. 😊🎻

Thanks a lot for your kind words 💖

can you teach us la campanella ???
Thanks for the suggestion, that's very nice piece 😊
I was expecting Rush, lol. This is more like Stefan Dymeter. Same shred factor, though.
I hope you enjoy learning this 😄
