- Today I'm working on a page in my art journal / sketchbook using Aqua Tint watercolor inks from Spectrum Noir. The tutorial will look at how to use the inks and some different painting techniques.

Which one of the aqua tint colours do you like best? I really liked biscuit, its quite an unusual yellow/brown and blended really well with the other colours.

I really liked the macaroon color it was a very beautiful color

I love painting in inks like this
The rose colour was really interesting as it changed a lot depending on how much water you added to it. It would be fun to try painting a whole illustration or page with just one ink and see how much variation there is:)

This had inspired me to try using inks. I've always been a bit scared to try them! I like the teacup colour and I think it would be good in a galaxy!
Yes, a galaxy would be fun to make with these! The cosmos colour would go perfect with teacup in that. Glad you found the video inspiring, if you think of the inks a bit more like watercolours then perhaps its a bit less scary:)

Glad you found the video helpful:) I find that if you think of using them as you would a regular watercolor then the inks are less intimidating.
This turned out so beautiful! I would really like it if you could make a video about how you edit! Your videos are so calming and I want to try to make my videos radiate the same energy!
Thank you:) I'm not sure if anyone else would be interested in a video on video editing but I am happy to share any tips I know. I think using real time footage, cut down into small clips makes the video feel more calming. I also try not to talk to fast in the voice over and use some upbeat but soft music. Hope that helps:)

I have not painted much on canvas. Have you seen the Art Sherpa's you tube channel? She works almost always on canvas and does amazing tutorial videos:) As for the inks, I'm not sure if they will work, I should imagine that they will make some sort of fun effect.
