Just started watching the first few minutes, and what she says about hydration is so true!! Speaking as a 36 year old woman 😄 since puberty i've ALWAYS had super oily skin, which has actually been one of my pet peeves. Plus,i live in a tropical coastal island country and the constant humidity makes things worse. So i have always steered clear of any creamy moisturizers and used light, water-based lotions instead. However, since i turned 35, i noticed a slight but significant change in my skin - suddenly i was no longer an oil slick and my skin, while definitely not dry, needed something more hydrating. I have since switched to a lightweight but creamy moisturizer which makes my skin look bouncier and plumper overall. I have added a vitamin C + niacinamide serum at night, which nicely balances out any excess oiliness too. And finally i seal everything in with a good quality aloe vera gel which is lightweight and easily absorbed but still provides lots of hydration!
I stumbled upon your channel accidentally and I am super happy for that. Have been following your videos rigorously ever since. Thank you so much for detailed videos, educating us❤ More love and power to you 🫰🏻

I just don’t use it as often.

Also, I'd love to see sunscreens without essential oils, fragrance and hydrating for skin even in summer. Dewy skin is my jam now that I an in 30s and don't have oily skin. I am a minimalist now and tinted ones are good to. Of course more bang for the buck to. I hate 1.7floz skincare lol, UNLESS it's an active.
Absolutely love watching your videos. They are really informative and helpful. Can you please recommend some good, affordable Indian brands too. Thankyou so much
Thank you for this one. Talking about sunscreens, it sounds like you will be doing another video on those soon. I wanted to tell you that while I have a photosensitive allergic reaction to the chemical spf filters currently available in the U.S., I have been trying 4 of the Korean sunscreens you recommended in a previous video. I have done several patch tests and I think I can say with confidence that I am not allergic to any of them! It makes me wish I could find out which chemical spf filters I'm allergic to in the U.S. but they are usually always used in combination so I can't seem to narrow it down. The Korean sunscreens I have tried and can wear: Beauty of Joseon, Purito Daily Go To SFP 50, Purito Daily Soft Touch, and the Klairs sunscreen. These 4 contain a total of 6 different chemical spf filters that I'm not allergic to, so what other ones can I wear is my big question, but I may never be able to narrow it down. Thank you for all you do and the information you provide! My skin is so much better due to you.
Turned 40 in April, I’ve been using 0.025 tretinoin since about 37, but I’m from the Caribbean and seriously burnt my skin in the sun in my 20s. I’ve been taking hydrolyzed collagen which, even if it doesn’t help my skin it at least helps my nails lol. I also have been using peptides and got an led face mask for red light treatments. My moisturizer is often just grape seed oil because I have dry dehydrated skin but I’m also trying Ole Henriksens peptide moisturizer. I may also increase the tret to 0.05 but will ease into it at first. Also use the 10% lactic acid from the ordinary once a week. Also for a basic moisturizer I really like Curel’s deep moisturizing face cream and their toners/essences, I used them while in Beijing where it’s so dry, but that really helped.
Hi! I love all your videos and all what you recommend. Please would it be possible to talk about Elemis Skin Care products?? How good are they indeed? Thanks for such great videos!
Hi shereene , amazing to see all your thoughts and recommendations on all the products . Loved ❤the vlog and can’t wait to see what sunscreens you talk about , and recommend to anyone xx
I like Bare Republic mineral SPF 30 face sunscreen. It's actually unscented (scents give me migraines, doesn't matter if they are natural or not) and has a nice dimethicone slip so application doesn't feel as heavy and draggy. Dries quickly to a nice soft powder feeling. The major drawback is that it can leave a white cast, and only the SPF 30 is unscented.

after 40 yo it s all the same
What are your thoughts about all the peptide products especially ages 40+?
Many thanks and wish you a lovely Mother’s Day tomorrow 🥰
And finally i seal everything in with a good quality aloe vera gel which is lightweight and easily absorbed but still provides lots of hydration!
can you recommend the moisturizer you used to use and the one you're using now? thanks!
Dr Shereene I admire you very much! Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤

I stumbled upon your channel accidentally and I am super happy for that. Have been following your videos rigorously ever since. Thank you so much for detailed videos, educating us❤
More love and power to you 🫰🏻
Thank you Dr. Shereene watching your vlogs ❤
Thank you dr shereen idriss, vdo was as lovely as you look in the green dress. Hope it serves the purpose and people will get the benefit from it.
Would love some cruelty-free vegan products suggestions 🙏
Yes please! A lot of the products mentioned are tested on animals. I use Inkey list which is vegan and cruelty free.
Sunscreen: love the Cerave with SPF50 at the moment. Doesn't feel like sunscreen 😊
Okay, I'm gonna suggest you do a video on Peri-Menopause and Menopause in relation to skin. Some people have peri-menopause and menopause develop earlier in life and it doesn't necessarily happen at ____ age. 🤠 Thank you!
Thank you so much from Switzerland ❤
Me at 39, morning routine :
Hada Labo whitening facial wash
Uriage moisturising toner
Dr.Wu hydrating gel
Fancl SPF 50 sunblock
Plus living in warm climate with high humidity , naturally helps me look younger , everyone thinks I'm in my 20s....
Would love to know what you think of La Roche Posay's ANTHELIOS AGE CORRECT spf 50 as a daily sunscreen rather than the classic anthelios liquid 🙏🏻
I just bought the major fade mask and the depuffer. I’m so excited to get these! Your skin is gorgeous btw!
@@user-qe4zj6iu4s absolutely! The major fade mask is so nice because I don’t get any sensitivity to it. But, wow, it really does seem to be working on the spots that have bothered me. They are looking lighter already! I use the mask twice a week. That seems like a good routine. The debuffer is really soothing and helps with those morning under eye bags. I just don’t use it as often.
Great channel❤! Do you have one video specificly on neck rings?
My favorite wonderful creamy cleanser which smells amazing is Lancome Galete confort cleansing milk👍
It does smell good and I love the feel of the texture of it! I was given a GWP from a friend and it was part of it. Super concentrated too. I wish Lancôme was cruelty-free. 😢 I don’t use them for this reason but I sure would for this cleanser!
I love your consistently throughout your videos, such as you how dislike the the droppers
Thank-you! Always great info- any chance a segment on 60+ skin care advice and products _particularly love your serum!
Hi Shereene, the Nivea Q10 ad always pop up on RUclips. It says it is good for fine lines and wrinkles. Would you be interested in doing a deep dive in Q10?
Ps. Your skin looks amazing!
I just love your personality and easy way you explain the products. Thank you ❤
Also, I'd love to see sunscreens without essential oils, fragrance and hydrating for skin even in summer. Dewy skin is my jam now that I an in 30s and don't have oily skin. I am a minimalist now and tinted ones are good to. Of course more bang for the buck to. I hate 1.7floz skincare lol, UNLESS it's an active.
Das Rosskastanie-Weinlaub-Gel von Bio Allgäu kühlt angenehm und tut meinen Beinen gut.
Absolutely love watching your videos. They are really informative and helpful. Can you please recommend some good, affordable Indian brands too. Thankyou so much
U do meditation?
Another great video! Thank you!! Banaba boat light as air! I love it!
What do you think of oils?Coconut? Rose hip? Argon? I love how they feel but do they do anything?
I love your videos. This 40's video is awesome. Could you do a video for skin care in your 50's? Thank you
Thank you for this one.
Hii u do meditation?
the vanicream gentle cleanser is great but the pump will eventually slip in water if bottle @ shower tub. no other way but change other brand.
Shireen plz do the same topic with affordable version pleaseeeeee... 😭😭😭😭
Can you purchase pump glass bottles (dark or clear) and transfer serums into them? Or will it destroy the serums?
Can you talk about Korean skin devices. I just picked up the medicube. Also EGF skincare. I always look forward to your videos 🇨🇦.
Thank you for this! So interested in hearing your thoughts on pregnancy safe options.
Discuss about SPF protection for the lips?
Hi shereene , amazing to see all your thoughts and recommendations on all the products . Loved ❤the vlog and can’t wait to see what sunscreens you talk about , and recommend to anyone xx
I like Bare Republic mineral SPF 30 face sunscreen. It's actually unscented (scents give me migraines, doesn't matter if they are natural or not) and has a nice dimethicone slip so application doesn't feel as heavy and draggy. Dries quickly to a nice soft powder feeling. The major drawback is that it can leave a white cast, and only the SPF 30 is unscented.
