Grottiest course ever. Super grotty. Mega Grotty. Rather stick darts in my eyes than ride that swill grotty. Amazing ride man, just amazing. The mud wiping is awesome, and the camera fling after the first lap is freakin hilarious.
Very similar to our track....the up coming Black Sky GNCC. Dirt is sort of the same,my place has more lines and is faster. We have more uphill and downhills. It may have a few sections not often seen in GNCC. My friends that raced said the ruts were terrible.....you make it look easy. Awesome ride!.
Hey kailub you should check out the dango designs gripper mount for the gopro. Jeff walker did a video on it not very long ago. Awesome footage mate your an absolute animal, keen to hear the voice over after the next round, good luck champ !
@@masonthurston3773 The dango designs gripper mount wont cover the side of the chin bar like the pro shot mount does dude, I don't think it will get in the way of the red bull logo at all, the only thing it might interfere with is that drink bottle they put in there mouth as they pit but I don't think it would plus kailub said in a previous vid he chucks it off after the first lap anyway, you don't have to worry about loosing your gopro either the things are solid, plus since it is so quick an easy to clip on if he wanted to have one of the pit crew change the battery and sd and clip it back onto him as he pulled in that wouldn't cost him much if any time at all
its bloody red bull anyway they should be making there own custom chin mounts hahaha the top of the helmet doesn't look as good, the ruts and stuff look deeper when its down at your chin
Kaliub talked about it in one of his vids. Red bull logo, and air restriction through the mouth piece is why he said he wont run one. He did say in another vid he got a chest mount, but idk if he would use it during a race.
Damn, not only wiping the gopro but also readjusting it after whacking tree limbs! Camera does no justice to how rutted and slick that course was. How can you pros ride those conditions with the same speed that you ride under normal conditions? Is it just a pure skill/experience thing, or is your setup completely different? Vet B guy that spent a lot of time on the ground asking🤣
Is the video in some sort of stabilization mode? The ride looks smooth, but the normal pace looks slower than what we all know KR is most likely going.
What kind of insects/ animals can you encounter in Borneau? In Canada , up north, I see black bears( usually running away) deer's( often they just freeze still) & wasps & horseflies.not too much to worry about...
Man it's too bad you don't keep the cam on longer. That track got miserable after it rained! Been a minute or two since your last lap was 4 minutes slower than your second lap, hasn't it?
The ground gets chewed up, but you would be surprised how quickly nature claims it back.even busy hiking trails get beat up, but give a place 2-3 years respite and it is 90% recovered.what is damaging is people drilling gouges up hills, which accelerates erosion.bikes aren't removing material, just kicking it around.the real damage is people churning up creeks & chewing up alpine moss on purpose; these people generally don't remain in the sport for very long....

KR knows whats up. Never hit a tree you aren't 100% sure you can go through it.

@ Damage, Inc. A few of those RPGs will erase those ruts.
