  • Alex Murdaugh returned to court, arguing that he deserved a new trial. His lawyer alleges the court clerk, Becky Hill, tainted the jury that found him guilty of murdering his wife and son, Paul. Hill denies the allegation. One juror says the clerk of the court influenced the guilty verdict. Another juror says he also heard an inappropriate comment from the court clerk. However, the juror denied his verdict was in any way swayed by the clerk's remark. The judge has ruled Murdaugh will not receive a new trial.

The juror specifically said she was pressured by other jurors, NOT the clerk and the Judge found that as well

So juror can't think for themselves after hearing everything attorneys and witnesses presented? She was stupid to claim she was influenced, I'm curious as to why she now says this! Has someone on his team paid her or influenced her to make this claim so he can try and get a new trial? And notice how juror had long pause before answering judges question about if she would have voted differently if clerk hadn't said anything? Long pause then responds "yes" she being cohorst into this.

It doesn't matter how many was influenced,it only takes 1 and the jury was compromised in America as much as someone looks guilty but until proven guilty he or she is presumed innocent, the lady law has a blind fold on for this reason because the evidence alone is what proves innocent or guilty. That alone is the law not someone in a position of influence by no means should say a D@π thing .The American citizen should get a new trial in another state.
