Endless death. I'm almost 66, not feeling well and you start to realize how short life is. If we knew at 18 what we find out later we would work our butts off doing what we are passionate about every moment of the day and trying to love everyone so not to waste 1 second of our very short lives. Then, the universe goes on without us barely noticing the few short years we were here. Don't waste it as I did worrying about relationships, fears, ambitions and controlling others. None of that really means much if you don't finish with a loving family around your bed at the end with a feeling that you had fun.
Mike Young : You have people that love you 💞💜
Amen!
@Mike Young, you can count me in on the love for you too dear unknown friend ♥ 66 isn't the time for giving up or giving out of hope of a beautiful tomorrow.
Seize the day and squeeze out every last drop. You can do it 💪!!
Take care 🙂💕and have a sweet tomorrow 🍭

All is never lost, just maybe misplaced a little while, and love 💘forever blossoms with HIS GRACE and BLESSINGS! 🙏
You may not know it, but, you have a lot of people who care. Keep your faith, Mike, you are only a year older than me and I’m still not completely sure what I want when I grow up except to have made a difference in one person’s life even if it is only for a minute or two. A smile here, a hug there even a virtual one, a cup of coffee or a meal for someone else or even just a pair of ears to listen. It doesn’t have to cost a lot or any thing. It is not to late for you. As someone else said seize the day, grab it by the horns, you are way too young to give up. If you are well enough try volunteering somewhere that interests you. It would get you out of yourself for a few hours and you might find you like it and get a lot out of it. In the meantime here is a gentle, caring, virtual hug from someone who cares. 🤗🙏
RIP Dusty Hill. Been to a few ZZ Top concerts. Awesome shows! They were supposed to come here in Lubbock TX again this November. Would still go see them! Greatest band ever. RIP my fellow Texan!!
Their 20+ years on the job guitar tech took over as bassist. It was what Dusty wanted when he had to stop with his hip issue. Now I guess, sadly, it will be permanent. Saw a couple clips. Pretty good. But, I will still miss Dusty!!!
They didn't even lower the flags in Texas. Not right
I'm not a Texan so RIP to my fellow bearded bro. I'm thinking of seeing them while we still have Billy and Frank but I know it would be the same without Dusty. I almost cried when I found out the sad news.

Interesting channel so far. At least you're doing something to memorialize great people in history. Good job.
Ron Popeil was the forerunner of the infomercial craze on TV. I can still see him on late night television hawking some silly gadget or invention. His commercials were just as cheesy. Remember the dude riding in the convertible who sees a pretty girl walking down the street? He holds up his "Mr Microphone" and says, "hey babe. Be back to pick you up later.". Sheez. But my favorite hokey device Ron Popeil came up with was the "Pocket Fisherman". It literally folded up to fit into a pants or shirt pocket. Pull it out, extend the "rod" , bait the hook and Voila'. . .you're fishing. Good luck landing the big one. As ridiculous as this stuff appeared to be, Ron Popeil sold millions of dollars worth of merchandise over TV. He made himself uber wealthy. Somewhere, PT Barnum is smiling.

Mason made making fun of Frank Sinatra a part of his usual show in Vegas, arguably "Sinatra's town". It was made known to Mason that Ftsnk didn't like it one bit, which only increased it as part of Mason's show. .
Making fun of Frank, a well known mafia friend, was courting danger. One night, I believe after his show, Sinatra had some mafia goons hold Mason up outside the entrance to the casino again I believe (the brain cells go with time) and hit him in the jaw so hard that it broke his jaw. Doing it out in public let everyone who was the big dog in Vegss. Once he recovered, Mason never made fun of Sinatra again. I always thought Frank would put a hit out on Mason.

In 1964 after Ed Sullivan had banned Jackie Mason from his show, some friends and I had been to the New York World's Fair and were on the Jersey turnpike headed south back home. We stopped to eat that night at a turnpike restaurant and sitting at the counter with one other man was Jackie Mason. I was only 14 and went over to him and said, "Excuse me, aren't you Jackie Mason?" He beamed and said, "Yes I am, please sit down!" I told him how much I had always enjoyed his comedy, had a great conversation with him, and asked for his autograph which he graciously gave me. I could tell he was really pleased that somebody still recognized him even though he wasn't on TV as much as before the Sullivan ban. It was one of the high points of my life!
