@@SlotCraftMaster I also use "old" (means "used", because empty 🤷🏽♂️😉😂) but cleaned yoghurt cups for some fluid when painting. Or decaling, I have an old cover of a family pack of Vanilla icecream, it's a low but wide cover, so I fill a bit water inside and the large surface allows me to easily grab the waterslide decals from the side with tweezers when they are ready to come off the carrier film...
just the video I needed to see just bought another 15 metres of track to build an overpass on my track and was thinking about a cheap way of building the supports. thanks tony
I'm thinking along these lines but not even starting with plywood on top of a bench. Just build a framework bench and then put in risers of various lengths to get the desired height. What you created is great in that you can change the angle of the riser to set the track on to create slight banks to the curves. I plan to make the width of the supports to allow for borders everywhere. Likely I will make my own borders instead of buying the Carrera ones.
Love the way you think. My design is ment to inspire and to show how easy and costless it can be. I'm working right now on them on my track and as it will be a permanent one I did the different highlights for consistency plus its all plywood. I will do my own borders as well but that material for another video. Glad you got inspired by my video, enjoy the build mate.
here is hot my layout looks right now... drive.google.com/file/d/1-CH54kEHrFtMZLchk7VTYaWPuXthVwAh/view?usp=sharing I plan to make some changes and add DIY shoulders so stay tuned to see the development. Hope this helps

Happy to help Tony ☺
I'm so impressed about how good it holds his position. i still don't understand the magictrick, but I def gonna try it :D nice job slotcarwizard! :D
The magic trick is called friction! In medieval times I'll would burn on the stake for that but now days it's simple 😆
Very nice idea, I'll keep this in mind for my permanent track built.
It works well for a temporary track as well, and much better than the Carrera ones

I really like your track layout. Any chance you have a list of track pieces used or a diagram?
Thanks mate, give some time and all get to a diagram ASAP
