Hmm... seams like you mixed up the youtuber or the video you wanted to comment to. Massimo (AKA MP slot) is a grate guy and sure is right in a lot of things. Either way thank you and thanks for watching. Crafty
Good Video dude. Thanks for sharing how you break in your cars. As much as ppl might say that Carrera motors are not worth breaking in, I feel that due to the fact that they are lesser quality, they need that little bit of attention to get the best out of them. good one! My dog is obedient Check! I drink when I break in, Check! I have fun doing it, Check!!!!!
Thanks man, I think we have to separate club racing from home-racing, and for me braking-in it's not only about the motor but the entirety of the car, in the end of the day it is a mechanical device and all mechanical devices benefit from a brake-in in different ways other than performance.
Ohh wow thank you for the shout out ,i was merrily watching and then i appeared on screen 🤭😁🤗I do agree with the oil and grease and check screws .after that i run my new cars in plastic band ghost mode for half an hour (Also a good time to photograph the new car on the move) after that its time to scrub in the tyre's a bit then its time to battle lol 😁excellent post and love your humor 🤗...Harry
Your Dog is beautiful, great tips, what does petroleum jelly do for rubber? I always thought it would make the tires slick. Great video, but don’t quit your day job yet 😂😂😂. Keep ‘em coming buddy, you have a great channel my friend
In my experience it keeps the tires soft and flexible. Before running the car you can rub it off, the car may slide for a couple of laps but then it comes alive. Thanks for the kind words and support mate. Unless I score a major sponsorship from Johnnie Walker I can't see how RUclips money could support me lol 😂 Just taking the piss of people that think that if you monetise your channel you suddenly make millions and have sold your soul to the man.
Hey Crafty, nice track, very nice car (I own it myself in 132 and 124). At 132 scale, we are running urethane tires of Slotinvasion on the original Carrera rims and axles, including the original bushings. Carrera tires will be destroyed when too long in the ultraviolet light.
Thanks for the heads up Michael, I'll keep that in mind. It is a beautiful car but I need to come up with an idea of what to do with those antennas on the roof. I don't like taking them off everything I'm running the Car but I don't want to loose them either.
@@SlotCraftMaster look for "rubber antenna", so you can put the Carrera ones out and mount the rubber ones, which don't break, when turning to the roof, when the car takes off the slot. 😉 I will look for at the internet and send you a link by DM.🙏
This is satire, yes? Otherwise you unnecessarily added lubrication to a car which comes lubed from the factory then let the computer put several hundred laps on it. Imagine how much more fun it would be to drive the new car yourself.
Hey Scott, you are right the cars come lubed but running for that long will cause them to dry out. Extra lubrication assists with the smooth brake in of all parts, and also helps with heat regulation and cleaning of the contact areas. What it doesn't do, is harming the car so why not. The reason I'm using the ghost car mode instead of running it myself is because I can keep a steady speed for a long period of time and increase in increments. This is my way, it's not necessarily the best or the only way to do it but it works for me. Thanks for watching and commenting, I hope that you enjoyed the video regardless of the difference of opinions.
I love it. Johnnie Walker Blue, i wanna race at your track.
Like the cars we also need some high quality lubricants 😆
love the sense of humour
Life is short man, cheers
your right Massimo great video

Love it brother! Great video showing how you break your cars in! Really enjoyed that! 🙌🏻
Thanks man, glad you like it because the people at my AA meeting did not appreciate it lol 😆
To funny, great video!
Thanks, glad you like it 😊
Great video. Question, what does the Vaseline on the tires do?
Thanks mate. There is quite a debate about 5hat but in my experience it keeps the tires moisturised
Enjoyable and funny vid, nice track, lovely dog, and beer! Subbed
Came for the slot cars, stayed for the beer!
Fair enough 😆
Good video hilarious as well.
Thanks brother it's all about having some fun
Thanks for sharing how you do it!!!!!!!
Cheers Nico, I think if my local liquor store owner will see the video he will start buying me new car's 😆

Excellent video as always! Just wondering, there was no label on that beer. Was it a homebrew? Do you have two hobbies?
Spot on mate!
What track speed counter are you using?
If it's the race control app you are referring to
It's Smart Race. It's the best app you can get for Carrera. I highly recommend it 👌
Do you use an electronic contact cleaner after using WD40?
No I don't, but I'm not using it on the electronic board, just in the motor and braids which is more electrical than electronic.
@SlotCraftMaster Thank you. I've see on RUclips where people use it in the motors after using WD40
@@GST_Racing I am no expert when it comes to electronics, but in my experience I never had issues.
