    Thanks Dave, with me being a novice to the slot car scene I've been looking at replacing the drive gear and wondered how you removed the gear without doing any damage to the engine or shaft and now I know, so thank you and keep up the videos.
    Regards Michael 👍

    nice perspective on wearing in the tires, I have been doing that because I don't have a tire truer. I found after a few laps they warm up and get better traction, I always learn something from your videos. And yes always finish off the coffee.

    Just turn motor,push on short part on shaft(spindle)... much easier, pinion will sit flat on middle bar of press ,goes right on!

    Hi, I just found your channel, like you I'm returning after a very long absence and racing with mates on mostly Scaley track. My first Revo Escort is in the post so I found your video very informative. I'm looking forward to watching your other videos, I've got a lot to learn. Thank you. Steve.

    Does anyone else use the pinion puller that way round? Probably find it easier to fit a pinion the other way round.

    • @slotr
      @slotr  Год назад +1

      Yeah I seem to vary which way round depending how I feel, neither seems less fiddly than the other

    Dave, I'm just getting back into the hobby. Actually, I'm new to 1/32. Was heavy into HO as a child. Question for you. I really enjoy your posts. Especially this latest on tuning the Escort. But, I noticed you have a pretty unique collection of cars. What is the class of most of your collection? cars

    • @slotr
      @slotr  Год назад +1

      I like race cars based on street cars, I'm not really into prototype racing so I tend to stick to Group2 and Group 5 touring cars
