- Hello, I'm Eileen. Once upon a time, I was obsessed with being the perfect minimalist. For a while, I really contemplated about downsizing my luxury bag collection to the bone. As soon as something didn't get worn much, I would rush into selling. While I don't have any major regrets with a lot of the designer pieces I sold, I'm also glad I didn't sell everything just because of minimalism. In this video, I talked about how my change of my lifestyle has impacted how I use my designer bags. Some of the least used bags have now become incredibly loved and useful. I hope this video inspires you to look at minimalism in a healthy and practical way. Just because you choose to live and spend mindfully, it doesn't mean you have to own nothing. I am a luxury minimalist that enjoys designer bags responsibly and that is ok xx

I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. As a luxury collector, I think the bags depend on the seller and the factory it comes from. My Chanel double flap is super fake just like hers and I only paid $100 for it from a seller in Hong Kong. The funny thing is that I later found out that he purchased it from *condup* .

Great! I relate with what you feel. What I’ve been doing to reduce this feeling is rotate my use and keep restrict to a certain order to use all of them and enjoy all of them. In my case, they’re just 3. But I constantly think of keeping just 2.

Now the streets are full of fake bags, and no one believes me when I go out with real ones. So now I'm gradually falling in love with fake bags. It doesn't matter if it's real or fake, it's just decoration *preluxscom*
I use my *preluxz* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

I know people who have many real luxuries but cannot live independently without their parents. Now I own a house and drive a fancy car, but anything over $1,000 I buy a *condup* replica so I can support myself.

I love wardrobe curation. I am more cautious adding new items. Selling is such a trouble we should avoid at the point of purchase.

I'm usually a Coach girl so I would say, if you can find one, the Coach Cassie (not the Cassie 19 because that one is smaller), it's wonderful & holds ALLOT! I just got one pre-loved, that one & my Coach Marley (a little smaller) are my 'go to' bags. LV invented the Pouchette Matise, but I think Coach perfected it with the Cassie, with the turn-lock, more substantial/durable hardware, & the option of the 'signature canvas' or plain with no logos. I'm not a fan of the logos so I specifically looked for & got the color block & couldn't be more happy with it :)
Will these problems occur if these bags are used daily? I just purchased a metis clutch in monogrammed canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the colorful polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, haha. But I don't think it will be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in the DA but only use it a few times a year in the spring and summer so I don't put much wear and tear on it. I hope I don't see wear and tear for a while. Plus, I'm saving up *condup* . Have any of your colleagues experienced the same problem with this size? I don't mind the shape being a little more relaxed, but I also don't want it to turn into a puddle. Thanks for the video!

From all my designer handbags, I also use the LV handbags the most that are made with canvas. I don’t have to worry about them as much or baby them too much.
Love this video, I've gone through sellers remorse for my celine nano luggage tote. I sold it last year and now wish I didn't, especially with the price increases and the colour being no longer made. Excited to see this journey for you!

Hello Eileen. As I get older I feel the need to carry lighter bags, sometimes leather spooks my shoulder and back. My husband and I use to walk all day long through the cities seeing everything as we walk by stoping here and there and spending time in museums, etc. So I’ve discovered the nylon bags, I can’t praise this option enough. Lonchamp has The Pliage, has it in leather too. For an affordable one, the small Hexagona, French, which is a work horse. Tommy Hilfiger has bigger nylon bags with zipper too. I’ve one for years that has been through so much in planes and is as new. In leather I recommend the Gaby zipped pouch or the toy puffer both from YSL. The 1st one I use it only for the bare bare essentials just for sightseeing when you want to look a little smarter. The Toy puffer serves the day and makes the transition to night very easily. ❤

I do have a Loewe small Puzzle bag for traveling w/ my school age daughter too. It fits quite a lot and the brand is very durable. I strongly agree with you about not downsizing to capsule wardrobe. I have just been doing slow buy instead.

I love my Loewe mini puzzle and Goyard cap vert for traveling through airport and while on the go throughout my trips. Holds a lot, zipper closed top (with you on that!) and goes with almost any outfit!
I have 3 LV bags and the boulogne in monogram/black leather is my absolute favorite bag of all time. Such a good choice and so versatile!
Have you considered Longchamp Energy XS or S? When it comes to travel, I can only tolerate Nylon bag, super lightweight for my shoulder to explore all day.
Many of the people who buy the authentic ones have kids in college and have huge student loans and unpaid home mortgages, but still spend thousands of dollars on handbags. I often recommend *condup* to them, they have good quality brand bags.

LV Totally line and the Cabas line are the best travel bags. My Totally GM is 15 years old and my Cabas Alto 24 years old won't ever part with them, don't use them much now but when I do travel out of town, they are the go-to perfection totes!
Yes, it's really interesting to see how fashion repeats itself...i have collected many, many bags...designers up there😂 and lesser known designers....kept most of them and today they are absolutely IN again....but today i dont think and feel them the same as once upon a time ....they are just beautifully crafted leather bags and have a function ❤

Hi Eileen , how about the Loewe puzzle small as a travel bag carry ? Its pretty good i have the older original one in sand . So elegant and can use it crossbody , hand carry and shoulder and understated.
I agree Hermes should have GP 25 and hopefully with Shoulder strap.
I have been collecting luxury designer bags with my mom since I was 13 years old. The first thing I noticed about the most expensive bags is that the leather is too soft and doesn't retain 16its original condition. I prefer *condup* leather because of its longevity and practicality.

I have heard from my friends who live on a tropical island that leather bags in general, and especially patent, do very poorly in very humid climates. I have also seen people get dehumidifiers for their closet where the bags are stored to help with that.

Personally I find the Idyl jewellery bit pricey considering they are lab grown diamonds.
After having been mugged in Malaysia I would never travel with a luxury bag. It’s much better if thieves look at you, decide you aren’t worth the risk and move on to a more obvious target.

Years ago I would never have bought fake however recently I have done and when you realise and compare both "hight quality luxury" and "fake" like I have done, you tend to feel scammed as the product and materials are exact the same *suluxs*
If you think that counterfeit goods are only for the poor, think about it again. Rich women spend tens or even hundreds of thousands to buy an expensive bag, while some fashionistas only spend one to one-tenth of these prices. Counterfeit *condup* , all the money saved can be deposited into their own bank accounts, so these women can be financially independent while keeping up with the trend.
Although I could buy many Chanel or Hermès bags every month, the bags I buy are much cheaper and they are all from *condup* . I don't want to worry about the bags being stolen or damaged. I'd better leave the money I save to my parents, Or donate to charity.

My thought is that rich people are often rich because they invest and spend their money wisely, and buying a Chanel bag is not a wise move. I know I'm not rich enough, but my assets are enough that I can easily buy luxury goods in *condup*
