From what I can tell, this song is about a soldier far from home. He reminisces about the roads and how beautiful they are; the first sentence even reads "Ничего нет на свете прекрасней дороги!," which means "There is nothing in the world more beautiful than roads!"
But he also wants to be back home. At 0:36, he says the following:

Which, according to Google Translate plus my small knowledge of Russian, means this:
I'd give all for the sun and the wandering wind,

Not quite actually. This song is about the great feeling of going on the road, leaving your boring routine life behind and opening up to uncertainty and danger. It's about the other aspect of a departing soldier's emotions: the excitement of what you might see and experience and where life will take you.

Also - if you aren´t doing it yet - check that you`re touching the ground with the tip of your feet only; that way your center weight is more at the front. If whole foot touches ground at every step your center of weight is more at the back leading to you falling over. I hope it helped :) sorry for bad english

the music doesn't have an ideology and it has its roots to the russian musical tradition. many of those "communist" songs were written before the soviet revolution for the army of the russian empire, for example the fairwell to slavianka. check it out and you will see.

I have no clue, the most difficult thing for me is the cyrrilic alphabet i never tried to learn it but i imagine it's hard.

(je suis entrain d'apprendre la grammaire russe justement, bien que je sache le parler et le lire sans problème). Apprends déjà l'alphabet (ça va finir par rentrer, il n'y a que 5-6 lettres de plus que nous), trouve quelqu'un avec qui parler ou un cours de russe et chante !!
