SampleTank 4 has a total of 260GB worth of information! - A lot of stuff, a heck of a lot of stuff!
What does that mean? It means that with a keyboard, microphone and this software you can make music! With 8,000 instrument presets It covers pretty much everything!
To showcase Sample Tank 4 we decided to bring in Mr. Steve Maggiora!
Steve has been in a ton of different videos of ours over the last few years but what I love about him is he’s an amazing keyboard player. He can write and record a song on his own using all of this stuff. - So that’s exactly what we had him do! Thank you Steve Maggiora for helping us with this demo!

What would you do with 8000 instrument presets?!
irritate my neighbors at least 8000 times
Put on a pot of tea....and start auditioning. (Naturally, with a production in mind.)
Play, play, play, play, and more playing...Lol
I would have 8000 more excuses to not complete the songs I've already started. Doh!
Snap my fingers to immediately eliminate half of them. Use the remaining 4000 to compose a song, release it into the world, and then watch the sun rise on a grateful universe.
Impressive, the sound quality and the channel strip. 8,000 instruments? I would never leave my room for the next two years.
Really nice sounds, haven’t even thought about Sampletank 4 really, thank you for the great information! I absolutely love the upright bass sound in 3 and use it all the time. I trigger it with a Fishman Tripleplay pickup on a tele and haven’t found anything much better.
Great video as always Warren and Steve! good luck to everyone on the contest. Looking forward to the next video!
Thank you ever so much!
I love Steves voice and musicianship (It was a blast to mix your songs for the academy man!) , thank you Steve and IK M and sir Warren...;) !!!!
Thanks for the overview Steve! Fun
Steve you are insanely talented. I wish i have only 20% of you knowledge. What i saw you did in your song, it blows me away! Thank you for inspiring me, both you and Warren! Cheers!
Sample Tank is an amazing package not just to get you started. It contains something for almost (?) every situation you can encounter writing, producing and mixing music. And Steve rocks!
Amazing piece of kit, and yet another amazing giveaway, gimme-gimme-gimme ... PLEEEEEEASE!
Such a big guy making such a delicate kind of song. Awesome.
Love your music, Steve : )
I've experience of full SampleTank 3, but I only have the free Custom Shop version myself, now. 3 was very good, but I never got to the bottom of its functionality in full - e.g. always used single patches per track and never fully got to grips with the on-board FX - but 4 looks like a real revelation. There were some incredible big and dark synth sounds on 3, different drum kits and great ethnic selections. Absolutely worth a punt to enter, despite the odd nay-sayer here. Thanks for the opportunity
Sounds like ToTo! Well done Steve and Warren!
Thanks Warren, but the signup is always confusing. Suggest you make the Enter box more clear...eg. that it is email signup for IK Multimedia (or whoever the giveaway party is). Thanks.

I admit Steve is making it sound pretty fun! 😊
Sick!
cool sounds
Interesting but knowing myself I'd get lost in so many choices. I like the intuitive feeling of my guitar. Maybe I could grow something out of the guitar into using something there in the tank, after already having a notion of something more narrowed down. 🙂
Omg I still think ST 3 is crazy but this 4 is just insane
Yes Bill! It's absolutely amazing!
Damn whoever win this will be very lucky person. I wish you all best of luck! And Warren, Thank you a lot for all these giveaways, i am speechless!
Wow ...8000 instruments. That's a big start ...it's like five times as much as Pro x or Ableton's included content.
Here IN 12-2021 just got Total Studio MAX 3.5. Whoa. . . .
Very nice
Thanks for showing. Please warn me, If I win, I'd need a new harddrive^^
Peter Brandt haha yes would need one!
I think I would have to get a separate hard drive just for the SampleTank alone, if I were to win!
you can never have too many instruments
bill pipper Oh yes you can. Don't underestimate the power of simplicity and limitations.
DAS IST MASSIV 😃
Dat super saw solo 😁
hi Warren I just did a song all in the box
8000??? I have no idea but im sure ill make good use for it!!
Steve rocks! :)
I agree : )
Hi John Morgan yes! Steve is amazing!!
Hi SHE STUDIOS [Sheila] you Rock!
Oooh, I hope I win this one. It would fit well with my new keyboard I just ordered. lol
If I win Im gonna have to buy a new 1TB M.2 Drive who would have thought 5TB of drives would get maxed out so soon lol
I am a long time IK user. I have Sample tank version 2 and 3. I bought version 4 when it came out. I have HUGE problems with it and am STILL waiting for a reply from support about my various problems with it! My last support email was on 03/29/19 - no reply yet. Just a warning.
When it covers everything and doesn't have a focus, it means that everything will be average but advertised as a whole of average instruments.
I was one of the very first users of Sampletank back when version 1 came out in 2001. I am very familiar with IK Multimedia since 2001 when I sold my Korg Triton and made the jump to working in the box. Until they acquired Miroslav Vitous strings, they'd pretty much redesign the GUI and sell the "new" version as though it had the same sounds, which is total nonsense. Same exact sounds as original but they'd throw some lazy effects on the same sound and create a patch and call it new. Their sounds improved over the years. And they did so by buying licenses to some dated sample libraries and importing them into the Sampletank. The sound quality and usability of mostly organic instruments is pretty good, however, IK Multimedia's support is absolutely horrific. Not only that, you will be downloading a million individual zip files and installing those one by one. You will go nuts. So for that reason, take my word for it - just stay away from IK. The only product of theirs worth owning is Amplitube, which IMO is the best amp simulation on the market.
Steves Voice is an absolute joke! its actually perfect! flipping heck man.
Haha yes amazing
@@Producelikeapro love your videos Warren. I have learned so much. Nice to see a fellow Brit ripping it up in the US. 🤙🏼
well.. get really busy in the studio
Would never buy a product from a company when I can't even get the free version to work. No sound no service. The only plugin I've never been able to get to work.
too much showing off?
