SampleTank 4 looks amazing! Always a fan of this product was way ahead of its this when it came out and now they just raised the bar yet again.
Amazing upgrade!
A midi recorder would be great in standalone mode on PC as recording midi files and then exporting to a DAW could capture live jams and ideas with maximum sound fidelity , then bouncing down to audio files and save CPU usage. Using the standalone version of SampleTank3 on a 4K monitor is like looking at a postage stamp from the moon , so I hope they have made SampleTank4 work with higher resolution screens .

Not all of them, but if you have Miroslav Philharmonik, the sounds will load in ST 4 as well.
I just upgrade from ST3 to ST4 , but I m not able to find the pattern function like in ST3.
Two questions please: (1) Are ALL the samples new? (2) Does ST4 Max give additional non-synth sounds or just extra synth sounds? I use 'real' instrument sounds mainly and don't need a plethora of synth sounds. Thanks!
The majority of the samples are new (hundreds of gigabytes in SampleTank 4 MAX for example) and you get a variety of additional sounds with the larger versions.
@@ikmultimedia How does ST4's scripting quality,compare...to that of Ni's K5??I have ST3...but the acoustic sounds(particularly the orchestral categories)...are of piss poor quality and I haven't used my ST3 in many years.I love Sample Tank's intuitive GUI layout...but if ST4's sounds aren't at least on par with NI's K4 sounds,then I will have to pass on the upgrade.I really don't want any part of ST3's libraries,as I want a completely revamped upgrade from all of that crap and only deal with ST4 level(assuming that the upgrade is reasonably improved.)

ik multimedia ..... how to control volume of each instrument of any drum kit? eg- kick, snare, tom etc....
Can i use Sample Tank 4 as a VST? If so, can is use the effects also as VST effects with my favorite DAW? I once used ST LE with a saxophone sound and i really liked that sound and the reverb.

@@ikmultimedia I cannot get it to work. I installed it, but it doeesn't appear. I will de-install all because it's too complicated.
Does SampleTank 4 have any other skins available? This dark skin with low contrast letters is hard on the eyes. Everything appears to be in shadow.
There aren't different skins available but the suggestion has been noted. Thank you.
This would fail most accessibility contrast tests but I must applaud you for your response I will definitely be purchasing this piece of software.
When is this available for ios?

Just bought version 3. Is this free for new users ?
Any customer who purchases or receives any version of SampleTank 3 as part of a hardware or software bundle on or after November 13, 2018, will receive SampleTank 4 SE for free at release.Any customer who purchases SampleTank 3 SE, SampleTank 3 or SampleTank MAX on or after November 13, 2018, will receive the equivalent version of SampleTank 4 for free at release.
And what about customers who bought Total Studio 2 after November 13. Will it be included in Total Studio 2?
Total Studio 2 is a bundle, so you would receive SampleTank 4 SE per the reply above.

Yes, you will be able to use any MIDI controller that works with your system.

Sample rank 4 crashes Protools 2022.10 every time I load it.
