....FOR anyone asking...this was one of 5 songs added to a 1981 Live album called, "Hot Live & Otherwise" featuring a 24(!) minute long medley of her Bacharach / David hits!!
@@chriscarter6743here are actually two other live versions on RUclips. There is the "Tonight Show" version you mentioned and a version from the "Solid Gold" television music and variety series in which Dionne Warwick was the host in the first season, 1980-1981. She also was host of season 6, 1985-1986, in which she sang, among other songs, 1980s rock and roll cover songs. The 1981 performance of "There's A Long Road Ahead Of Us" is found on the Michael Miller bigeyezzzzzzz RUclips Channel. He was the musical director for the show and is close with Dionne stil. He answers questions from the public in the comment boxes on his RUclips channel. That version and the "Tonight Show" version have the additional lyrics not found in this live performance or the record album from which the song originates. The performance in this video is from a Canadian Tom Jones Show special. You could notice the TJ written on the wall to the left of Dionne, but your right side in this video. Both Tom Jones and Dionne Warwick performed their duet version of "Endless Love" on this same show and that clip is on RUclips as well. That was done, in my opinion, as well as the Lionel Richie-Diana Ross version for the 1981 movie of the same name as well.
