Wow.. superb recipe 👍👏👏
550 g flour (AP or mix or WW)i
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cup luke warm water (slightly warm)
2 tbsp of ghee for Parata
Mix for 3 1/2 min total
Make a ball and
let it sit for 20 - 30 min. Then with a rolling pin, roll-flat the dough thin. Then fold it by rolling to get layers. Then cut the dough into 10 equal sizes. Let the dough ball fir 10 min rest before using. Easier to flatten.
Dough pieces can be stored in a greased air tight container in fridge over night before using.
Roll out but not too thin.
NOTE:
Cold dough won't need flour as much when rolling.
Coook on cast iron skillet. Use ghee.
Thanks for sharing all outstanding recipes falak
You are most welcome ^_^
If I want to add filling. at which stage do I do that?
Add it when you have flattened the dough before making the roll. Just make sure it’s nothing too heavy or the layers might not hold. Hope this helps 😊
