I’ve always wondered this: would it be beneficial to remove the brake fluid reservoir cap when pressing in the brake caliper? Or is that not really needed? Maybe to help if vehicle has ABS?

I use Sil-Glyde too… but seems to melt off fairly quick.

Won't matter. Pressure can escape from the cap with the cap on the res
