- Not off to a good start with the new prebug engine build. We opened up the engine cases, installed the new crank and threw the bore on. When we went to air leak test we found a not so fun surprise!

this is why it’s important to air leak test your motors boys. could’ve been fighting an air leak or caused more damage otherwise !
hey @mopboyz would a 89-01 Zuma prebug motor fit on a Yamaha razz? I have a 2000 razz and looking to swap it
NO SHOT. I had the same thing with my stage6 mk2 cylinder...lucky enough pedparts here in the uk was able to get me a warranty, it took 2 weeks but I got sorted out. it's very rare malossi, stage6, polini make these mistakes as their QC is normally top notch. this is why pressure checking is vital, I know a lot of people what don't check for leaks, squish clearance etc

the QC in the last few years has gone to Shit. I had a malossi bore recently that needed over an hour of Clean up just to get it to where. they used to come out of the box SMH

I never would've thought a Polini cylinder like that would pass quality control, but the flaw is in such an odd spot, I can see why they'd miss it.

Hi been a while sence I have commented on the gy6 160cc big bore kit lasted 500miles before the skert cracked.went back with a high compression 58mm cyclender kep the 60mm head my motor now runs way better with out over heating.

Damnnnn, now I know where the last starter delete plate and blue str8 oil plugs went🤣🤘 Other than the cylinder situation she’s gonna be a ripper when she’s done😎 Just did a Polini Crank and Contessa kit on mine this past weekend
Next time instead of polini corsa/racing. Buy the mhr replica alu kit its around the same horsepower but the acceleration on the replica is way better man. Hate cast iron for breaking in
I've been running a polini Corsa LC with raised exhaust port for 3 years in my Gilera DNA now still running solid, excellent quality I'm surprised this made it through polini quality control tbh

Was watching this cool Honda ez90 cub offroad scooter and wondering would you happen to know what 90cc 2t engine Honda used in that? Im guessing they would not have had many options in the early 90's with those specs. Did they made a 90cc Dio or something similar.

@mopboyz i was watching some other videos of putting a big bore kit on and the use a drimmille inside the casket where the holes are so the rings on the piston it wont crake the casket is this a must?????

You NEED to try a malossi sport 70cc i run its very good runs like a beast
i have on a couple engines , it’s decent but not close to the performance of a polini corsa or s6 mk2 etc
@@MOPBOYZ true but my zuma is my daily ride so good for everyday abuse these cc i also have my dragbuild with a stage 6rt mk1 70 its fun to those old mopeds its a thing that most people wont get unless they drive it

@@MOPBOYZ i got an idea for it what if you engine swap it with a banchee engine get a wide rear tire and keep the slim front tire or swap a Yamaha aerox / mbk Zuma engine in it with a wide rear tire and a slim front tire could be a cool project banchee swap would be crazier sinds it got so much power + Puch frame and stuff being light weight and a wide rear tire and thin front tire would be cool to see
QC has gone to shit from what it was 5 years ago............. The best casting, straight out of the box i have seen lately, have been Budget Naraku's lol
