I'm so glad I'm not the only one that vividly remembers Google's "Now on Tap" feature. It was one of my favorite things! I used it all the time to find places my friends would text me or add a calendar event. Thanks for another great video Tim !

Funny how Circle To Search is a underpowered now on tap 8 years later...
Circle to search was just added my Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra via a software update.
All of a sudden people forget about Bixby Vision that no one used.
So it's Google lens but refined. Got it. Also Bixby vision does something very similar.

Does this Circle to Search feature need to be turned on? I have the P8Pro and don't seem to have this feature.
Sorry Tim not everyone understands how to create RUclips titles for videos, plus it’s well explained what he means in the video, meaning you didn’t watch the video just rushed to the comment section.
Not sure what i'm gonna use circle to search on, but I do know I will be using it to test it in my review.
If Samsung could add the "Now Playing " feature that Google has on the Pixel this would really be the complete hybrid Samsung/Google flagship

Pressing home button is literal default action to trigger Google assistant.......
@@RealShaktimaan and as far as I know, Google lens need camera/screenshot photo right which is super annoying, while search screen feature when triggering Google assistant work on any screen even the apps that restrict screenshot, more over it does not take screenshot.
Circle to Search is almost LITERALLY Google assistant search screen rebranded and marketed as new feature

It's Google themselves that implemented it to the S24 Series. So you're technically accusing that Google "stole" a feature from Old Google... Err... How can you "steal" from yourself though?! "A Reused Feature" might be more accurate.
Right. It's just more convenient implementation of existing feature co-ceveloped with Google. So using words like "stolen" is quite dumb...or it's just a clickbait
It's just clickbait on purpose because many kids said Google stole it from Samsung to use in their pixels (lol) but really it's a Google feature that use the same concept as Now on Tap but actually optimised for a daily use

The only features both brands had are Bixby vision and Google lens (also now on tap which had disappeared) but this is a feature codeveloped by both brands, and launched on the galaxy S24 (as part of their long time partnership) But it was also scheduled to go on the Google Pixel 8. That's why the P8 will get this feature on January 31st, because that's the date S24 preorders will come home.
It's literally the exact same thing, the same app just installed on different devices, like Google assistant, you don't say Samsung copied Google Assistant, it's an Android feature not a Pixel feature
It's a Google app feature like assistant on both phones like are you this stupid ? This is not a galaxy AI feature.
Also all Galaxy AI features are literally powered by Google's Gemini Nano that they launched with the Pixel 8 Pro
