That right there!! That is the most ever Dale story ever told right there. Not on the track racing but on the farm flipping bulldozers. 😂 ❤

On the long version of this story Jr said that his Dad either broke or fractured Three ribs and didn't realize it at the time.

In the early 90's I ran my first dozer when I was about 16. Was a D4C and didn't have that foamy insert under the rops. My dad (on a loader)and I (on the dozer at the root end) were attempting to roll this tree that had been uprooted out of the fairway we were working in.
The dozer blade got hooked on a big root but dad kept pushing. The dozer went up in the front several feet then slipped off the root. As the dozer went down, I went up and banged my head on the roof. I looked over at my dad and he was laughing his ass off. That damned button on top of my ballcap left a mark for months. And a lasting memory. Damn I miss him!

You know it’s more complex to start a stock car than to turn the key on a modern day D6? Of course you didn’t. That’s why you made the comment.

Sounds just like my Daddy. He worked in coal mines for 42 years n he had no fear of nothing n by the way he to this day always loved Dale Earnhardt and the man in black n wears wrangler jeans to this day n him 80 years old. Jr you make me go back in my mind every time I hear your stories. We me and my Dad, we love you pal. I'd love to get your autograph one of these days to go with all my Stock car racing memorabilia. So glad we get to hear all these stories n we want to hear it all.

He is another generation. Or else he would have been on the other tractor helping his Dad or doing his own thing on the Tractor. Sadly I saw this with my own kids. The things they were interested in was hard to accept to me. Guess it's good they both shared driving cars.

I guarantee that hurt being slammed around in a steel cab just to hop onto another dozer to flip over first dozer get everything fixed up then go back to work lol that’s why he was called
