I had problems getting a Lyman 150 gr cast to shoot in my Grendel . I went with a 97 gr cast bullet at 1991 fps with 18 gr of cfe black and it groups well at 100 .
I have a supah heavy LEE mold in 6.5 but never tried in the lil G. Its like 165/170g!!!! I have had GREAT LUCK with NOE's 126. Julio lent me his mold one day he came up. I IMMEDIATELY ordered my own. Only available was a 2 cav one GC one plain. But its OK as its mot a hi volume use. But MAN. Very first load was under 1" @ 50!
I struggled with my 95 gr Arsenal mold . It dropped undersized at .265 . I used a.267 reamer on the mold and it has got a best of 1 3/8 inch at 100. It needed a .266 diameter to think about grouping . But at .267 the round was snug to the chamber . I had to ream a sizer die to .2665 too to make it all work . It was a lot of work but it'll easily group under 1 1/2 inch at 100 with 2 different powders .
Thank you for the video! I always wondered how would the grendel do with heavier bullets. Because of the 6.5 creedmore, there is a wide variety of bullet weights for the the 6.5 caliber. I was thinking on developing a sub-sonic load with a 140gr Fusion Soft point.
Mornin Feller! I have re started this video 4x keep gettin called away! Good stuff! I can send ya some from my molds if ya wanna try. I have wanted ta send some 240 8mm too. Drop me a email if ya think of it and we can set that up. Now ta re wind this video again 😂😊😊

vhitavouri powder might be one to check out .there jacketed bullet data is for some really heavy stuff.. I get amazing accuracy with their powders with jacketed bullets.

@@BrianArmel-m7u it's a fun hobby I will say ! Not the most money saving. Thing tho I will admit...at least at first
You da man! Set some traps this winter brotha!
I do the same. I love building ARs. I have several frankensteins in 6.5 Gr and x39.
I love Frankenstine rifles. Their fun to build and I learn from everyone, as I tune it.
That's really cool!

I imagine I'd try to drill the tips out on these and see if I get a hollow point wffect
