    Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte clear craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

I watched this to see what you meant by making a lot of money, just curious lol....but was glad I did, because I have not tried this technique ever, and am going to try it very soon! I love your works and new ideas, because you seem to be learning each time you create another painting, as we do each time we spend time in "your world"...Beautifully done, thanks again, Gilly .... for sharing so much with us, each day! 😉😊

It was so great to hear you talking about my tip of flipping over the canvases. You’ve given me so much inspiration and instruction. But more than that, you’ve given me courage with color choices and now I’m making my best pieces ever. It feels good to have given back this tiny tip. Not comparable at all but feels good. I adore your work and your channel. Thanks again!

I think they all came out great, the first one was so vibrant but even the last one which was more textural was nice in its own way too.
When i am doing the pours that I do, i always keep a tub somewhere handy with either acrylic key-chain blanks or glass cabochons oh even coasters or small wooden squares which I will dip into the areas of unused paint and then turn into jewelry and when I do my craft fairs and sales etc I have some items that might be on a lower price point compared to the canvases to offer people.
The other benefit is because its pour off from a already used project its literally costing you pennies to produce these extra pieces, some nice packaging and a label and you have a nice little side gift to offer. Just an idea

You are such a hoot! You give me the giggles every time I watch one of your tutorials! I love this technique! I enjoyed the first one. Really like the second one and lived the third! I was thinking to myself that if I were doing this I would keep going till all my paint was used up. More out of curiosity than anything else to see how each one would turn out. As you say, "Have fun with it. It's just paint!" Ideas, ideas, ideas!

Great idea! Made me think, why not use the balloons to take the leftover paint and create flowers and fairies on another canvas? I did something similar with a triptych (sp?) I did swipes on two then the third is a white base that I transferred my balloon dips to from the swipes. Turned out cute!

Personally, I like the little cells on the first piece. It makes me think of peacock feathers. The second one is beautiful and almost looks like someone had melted a Monet. I actually really like the third one. I think I would have gone in and used a small angled brush on it to very sparingly apply a shadowy gray or deep burnished gold in some of the more muddled areas to give some contrast and a sense of depth.

I appreciate the encouragement and support that you have provided and certainly hope you give acrylic pouring a try if you have never done so and if you are a pourer then you’ll love the dipping on bubbles technique 🤩🤩 Stay safe and create cell mates 🥰🥰

So very disappointed to see so many thumbs down on this video 😪 I have a fair idea of why and who incited it and it makes my blood boil! When I first noticed some "dislikes" on yr videos was shocked but now I've learnt that this actually puts yr videos further down in the search 🤬 How low can people stoop? Just shows how bloody fantastic you are Gilly and how much if a threat you are seen as 😔💕💕💕

I did this with my kids at work. The kids loved it, and the art pieces came out looking so awesome! Thank you for posting this video.

Oh my goodness Gilly these canvases came out gorgeous! My reaction was just a giddy as yours. Such fun. I have two questions if you don’t mind. First, when dry, do you apply a shiny topcoat? How do you take the tacks out of the underneath of canvas? Thank you Gilly! Xoxoxo

Can I point out it's 'embossing', not 'embosting'? Great video!
