That was a very nice boat! Your finish made it pop! Like the wood contrast! I can remember making boats for our son three decades ago. Kids do love hand made toys. Have you ever bought project wood from Ocooch? I bought 40 pounds from them in 2 20# boxes. All different sizes and thicknesses 1/8th inch and up of domestic hardwoods. A box contains 20#. They were all very nice for being off cut pieces. All scroll saw material. They are in WI. I believe I got my money's worth. Family owed. Enjoyed as always! Take care!
I have never bought from that company, but have heard of it. I have a local sawmill that I get raw lumber from and then process it with my tools. I enjoyed making this boat.
