- Hey Everyone! In this fun scroll saw project video, we make this amazng little Sailboat Diorama! This Steve Good design uses 1/4 inch material for everything except the base which can be 1/2 or 3/4 inch material. This Sailboat (or Pirate Ship) would be perfect to make for the beach lover in your life. Hope you all like the video!

Nice job, Tyler. I can relate what you said about how a body of water (no matter what) can calm you. My wife and I feel that way. I have the sailboat pattern ready to download to start that project too. Hopefully it will come out as well as yours .

It is a fun project that takes minimal material to make!
Great project Tyler. I must of missed this project when Steve Good brought it out. Question: After finishing, could you brush "super glue" on the rigging or weak areas to help strengthen them? I've read carvers would do this to the beaks of birds they carve.

What is that weird bounce you do at the start of that video?
Not a bounce it's me moving my shoulders to raise my arms to do the "intro" of the video. When filming I can quickly find where I start and edit out the rest
