as someone who is a jess fan, i would really recommend the episodes season 2 episode 13 a “tisket a tasket”, season 2 episode 19 “teach me tonight”, or season 6 episode 8 “let me hear your balalaikas ring out” - the first two really show the softer moments between rory and jess and why rory really fell for him in the first place, and the last one really shows his growth from his teenage self. he was a troubled teen with an absentee mother and a dad who bailed (similarly to rory) who felt out of place in the world and a lot of times succumbed to the assumptions people had of him but he really matured and is probably the single character who grew the most in the entire series. love the videos so much! just spent all night binge watching them :)
So they actually do bring Pennilyn Lott onto the show several episodes before this one. Season 4, Episode 9 “Ted Koppel’s Big Night out”. Lots of drama between Emily and Richard in that episode.
This episode is SO IMPORTANT. you’ve gotten JUST enough context to truly enjoy this one. 😅 hope you do a watch of this eventually. It can be chalked up to “ONE of Lorelei’s most insufferable moments”
I actually felt so bad for Emily when she found out she was working herself to death on the funeral to find out that trix didn’t even want her to marry Richard.
Oooh this is the wrong one! You need to see when his mother visited and drove Emily crazy!! Treated her like she treats everyone else! 😂❤ That one is "The Third Lorelai" !! You MUST see Trix in action! It's very cathartic :D
@Roger88faction i haven't. He was the perfect actor for Luke, but I'm not his biggest fan. I don't want to mix up my feelings about Luke with pattersons personal views.
This episode is full of my favorite Emily moments, but also really highlights how self-centered Rory is. "I feel like I should be crying, I'm horrible, etc..." She really had everyone kissing the ground she walked on when Lorelai got back in touch with her parents and began pursuing the Ivy League life and was never told to worry about others, so I can't blame her entirely. When her mom tells her she can work herself up into a respectable panic attack, it made me realize Rory does that whenever she does something to hurt other people in her life. However, you can meet Pennilyn Lott in the episode 'Ted Koppel's Big Night Out' in season 4, episode 9, it has so many face palming, cringe moments.
Thank you for this, these are the highlight of my week! After this it's time to watch the episode where Emily tries to break up engaged Lorelai! So pls watch Wedding Bell Blues next.
If you're interested in watching the episode where Richard's ex panel and light shows up then try the episode from season four where they go to the Yale Harvard game, I cannot remember the name of it. As for Lorelai the first or Gran, she shows up in both season two and season three before this moment I think she's in about three or four episodes, I can't remember the names of them But I thought you might've reacted to one of them before where Emily walks in and sees her kissing a man and tells Richard about it, also she's really nasty to Emily all of the time because she doesn't like her which just follows through to what she said about Emily and that horrible letter. Also fun fact the actress who plays Richard's cousin Maryland is also the same actress who plays Gran which is both very matter and very weird.
You should definitely react to S5:E13 “Wedding Bell Blues” soon! Also maybe S6:E8 “Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out” It’s interesting to see what happens with Logan and Rory
Just don't watch season 7 is crap! It is less crappy than the season they made later. Everything is disappointing a part from Luke and lorelai together

He's just gradually making his way through the entire series
This channel has just become a Gilmore Girls fan page by this point
And I love it
Shhhh... let it happen
and we’re all here for it 😂🥰
And I am here for it 🙌🙌🙌 TAG's voice and Gilmore Girls content has become my happy place 😍👌😂😂
Here for it 🙋🏻♀️
The reason they focus on Richard's cousin Marion is because she's the same actress that played Gran. Also we do meet Pennylyn Lott in season 4
OMG THATS SO COOL!! i knew she looked familiar but i never knew that she was the same actress as gran! thank you for sharing this!!!
The actress that plays Marion is who played the great grandmother :)

season 6 episode 18 “the real paul anka” also is a good one to show jess’ growth- it’s also his last appearance on the show
i love how you’re at the point where you’re able to predict what the characters are gonna do or say next
Emily's story wasn't true it was the absolute height of sarcasm 😂

The story about Sweetie was definitely sarcasm. Another example of the apple not falling far from the tree 😭😂
"no one drinks water on this show" 💀💀💀 I'm CRYING
this is my comfort show and it truly brings me joy to be able to see it through a fresh pair of eyes
The most soothing voice on RUclips.
Thank you.
Cousin Marion is played by Marion Ross, who had played Richard's mother in previous episodes. She also played the mother in "Happy Days."
I actually felt so bad for Emily when she found out she was working herself to death on the funeral to find out that trix didn’t even want her to marry Richard.
There is actually an episode where Rory judges a guy for always carrying a water bottle. I think she told Lorelai that was either weird or creepy lol
Oooh this is the wrong one! You need to see when his mother visited and drove Emily crazy!! Treated her like she treats everyone else! 😂❤ That one is "The Third Lorelai" !! You MUST see Trix in action! It's very cathartic :D
The best episode ever😂😂😂😂 I laughed throughout cause they are the same
Stupid naked angel butts!!
Ed Herrmann's acting in this episode breaks my heart every single time.
Loved how the Gran also played another character, she's funny lol
They did that on purpose, so fans would know the actor was still alive and doing well 🥰
@L F did you listen to Scott Patterson's podcast, she really goes in more depth
@Roger88faction i haven't. He was the perfect actor for Luke, but I'm not his biggest fan. I don't want to mix up my feelings about Luke with pattersons personal views.
@@Aelffwynn it's pretty entertaining, I'm just interested in how the show was shot, but I feel you

Well at least she admitted she should be sad and crying so she really isn’t self centered there
The avatar reference at the very end was beautifully done 👏👏👏 just absolutely gold ❤❤
Thank you for this, these are the highlight of my week!

2:19 this is where lorelai gets her sarcasm from, lol 😅
I love your growls of being entertained
Loved the Avatar Last Airbender reference at the very end 😂
The little laugh at "food should not have pronouns" lolllll
Love watching your Gilmore Girls videos! Have you watched season 4 episode 15 Scene in a Mall yet? It is another great Emily episode :)
Always great to see more Gilmore videos:) I’d recommend episode 6x09:)

i have been *waiting* for this one 🤩🤩🤩
Glad the wait is over.
some how it unsubbed me from your channel but Glad i'm back, Found you because of GG!
I'm happy you're here.
They do run into Pennily Lott at the yale/harvard football game! Thats is a really good episode if you havent seen it! Season 4 ep 9
"she's simply not a Gilmore" takes on a different meaning when you consider the....other thing
Emily gave the maids the day off she says so when Lorelai ask what’s up with the condolence moat
Welcome To The Dollhouse is a movie, a twisted one. If you ever need something weird to watch, start there!
Tbh I love day drunk Emily lol
I have a feeling this guy is starting to begrudgingly like this show or parts of it anyway. The writing is soooooooo good.
Yeah it’s just a terrific show
This is such a great episode!

I just watched the football episode on my Patreon. Thank you.
Season 1, ep 12 is one of my favorite episode's with the full moon where Cleo gets a magical siren voice that makes all the guys go crazy for her.
More Gilmore girls please!!!!
i just realized the aunt and the great grandma were played by the sam actress 😂
Pendleton lott is actually very nice hahahah we do see her in an episode but that’s it (i think)
also loved this video :) 🤣💓 And im so happy I saw it after u just uploaded it
Pennilynn*
Nice isn’t enough to marry and build a family and life with though
@@Aelffwynn omg no way it’s spelled like that! Hahahahah thank you for correcting me and teaching me LOL

It’s interesting to see what happens with Logan and Rory
S1 ep 15 Emma accidentally freezes a person and they have to save her.
It's so weird to have cousin Marilyn played by the same actress that was Richard's mother, Lorelei. 🤣🤣 She is basically attending her own funeral.
Btw we get to met Pennilyn Lott earlier in the this season. She’s also mentioned in season 3
Gran is going Commando 😂
please watch psych, it's one of the most underrated series
Already on my list, thanks.
Emily reminds me of Betty Davis here
S1 Ep 17. "Under the weather" the girls have to fake being ill because it's raining 😅
10:41 savage, we were all thinking it too lmao
Indeed
I don't have time to watch this yet but I'm dying to!
One of may fav episodes is s6 e13 "Friday nights alright for fighting"
I would love to see your reaction to it.
He did! It was from a few months ago, the video is titled "Watching *Gilmore Girls'* Most Chaotic Episode
@@RachelMFT oh really
Thanks i will check it out
Am i the only one who thought Richard's ex name was
"Penelon Lot" 😂
Not Penny Lynn Lot
I thought the same thing till now.
You should do the one where Rory and Logan steal a yacht I can’t remember the ep tho
s5 e21 “blame booze and melville”
YAAAAAAAAAAY Haven't even watched yet just YAAAAAAAAAAAY thanks! :D
This one is good
Welcome To The Dollhouse is a cult classic movie!
No, that wasn't a real story.
Listen.... escargot is GOOD, alright! They remind me of mushrooms, but somehow a bit more savory
Snails are DELICIOUS in fairness
I will never know.
🙌💪
