The only thing I would worry about with the garage and Florida would be the humidity.

I’ve been collecting again for the past two months. I have maybe 3 short boxes of stuff nothing major at all. But I don’t have anywhere to put it all! My garage is my gym but I think I could make it work(out). Great set up

I store my comics alphabetically. For example, I don't put all my Spidey's comics together. I but Amazing Spider-Man in my A boxes, Spectacular Spider-Man in S boxes, Web of Spider-Man in W boxes. I put them how they are listed in Overstreet price guide.

Very nice setup. I don't think there is anything wrong with using your garage. If it works for you, it works then. I would love to use my garage but our winter's can be brutal and with seeing all four seasons, can be wet. I really like what you got going on. Love the content.

@@ComicBookCorner2.0 I think a lot of garages can get pretty hot -which would age/yellow the paper in the comics? I have NOT seen your previous tours, but I noticed you did elevate your boxes -in case of flood or other water damages? That is very important - they are not resting on the ground without any protection.

Nice collection mike I put my comics bagged and boarded in plastic bins on shelves in my parents basement I’m almost done doing that I’m so happy but nice collection I’m proud of mine too I love trades too

If you live in a constant climate I think it would be ok but I would think if there’s a shift of 20 degrees or more it’s eventually going to effect the paper

Animal Castle and Crimson Cage are great books that I feel no one is talking about.

Awesome vid and setup. I’m just getting into comics and am already worried about the space it takes up living in a apartment in Brooklyn. I’m bewildered trying to figure out how people here in NYC who have been doing this for half there life maintain it 😂

Great setup Mike! I do not know how you do the filming in the summer and not drenched in sweat. Our summers can be unbearable at times with this Florida humidity.
I do have a fan right next to the desk which helps a little bit but yeah it's hard sometimes especially that I teach tennis all day the last thing I want to be is in a hot garage

That’s cool collection. I wish I would have kept or taken more serious the comics I had collected younger . I didn’t keep any . I had Spawn 1 thru 20 . And the rest I can’t remember . Now I’m just reading them and not worried on collecting them for price value . I am going to look into Scorched I want to but the #3 the one you said it talks about Russia and the war . I’m looking to find my reading taste now
I always buy to read first and if they are worth money in the future then that is a plus.

Slayer! This is the video I've been waiting for you to make. I've always wondered where and how you stored all those stacks you get weekly! I always struggle with efficient storage solutions myself, so often wonder how other people do it. Man, I thought I had a lot of boxes (short and long), but you have even more than I do! I don't like the boxes method, because it doesn't give me easy access to my collection. I am still searching for a system that allows me to store my collection, but also access a given comic easily when I want to read it. Enjoyed the video. Thanks!
I don't know if there is an easy way. I think at the end of the day is how you prefer to store your collection and what's easiest for you. I try to keep up with it so it doesn't get out of control.
The easiest way is digital. For my favorite comics, I have physical - individual issues and trades and digital... hahaha... If you have decent size collection, space and how to access them are always an issue. The problem is there is not value in digital comics; those can't be bought or sold... hahaha...
That is a great set up. For my self, I wouldn't put so many boxes on top of each other. The weight will start too crush
the books at the bottom over time.
I like them statues. I have some spawn ones. I pick up she spawn a few weeks back. I got the Gunslinger and another one
on pre order. I got the Nun from the movie. cyber punk I have 2. have other as well. I just can't see tacking them out of the box.
If I save the box. Then it will take up space. I need too fine something I can put them all on. Just not sure of what yet. Then making sure
there is room for it.
The biggest issue for all this stuff is always space you can never have to much.

I hate getting my comics every two weeks but that’s when I get paid so I can’t get them this week but the following week
I have a RUclips channel since 2015 I love doing it but I only have 92 subscribers I love my channel people love it too I just do it for fun hauls and reviews and stuff you were my inspiration on doing my channel when I started I’m still going to do it even though I haven’t reached a 100 yet
Have you read everything you have in your collection. I have a lot in my collection but don’t have any where to put them all together. I might have to get a house of my own to show off my comic collection in the future
I read every single New book that I buy when it comes to the back issues I mainly put them away to read them at a later time.
Since 2015 I have at least 3000 comics

I just hear William Hurt past away today. He did get all his parts for she hulk done. Not sure what will happen with the hulk now. Last I

@@ComicBookCorner2.0 As an aside, I wanted to let you know….I’m fairly new into the comics game, I’m 38 and been collecting almost a year. I had some as a kid but wasn’t really too into them. The pandemic really forced me to find a new hobby and a healthier way of spending my time and money as I was starting to make some really poor decisions. Comics have really saved me in a way, a year into this hobby and I’m in a healthier headspace than I have been in years.
For someone new coming into this hobby, your videos stand out amongst the many. You make someone new feel like they know what they’re doing with your modern reviews and weekly pull lists, etc. You seem like a super dude! So thank you for making these videos, you’ve got a big fan here!
Nice setup. I'd be worried about the boxes near the door, they could get wet when it rains. I keep our comics in a large file cabinet with 4 drawers and each drawer holds about 800 comics or more. Thanks for your video.
The rain has never come through plus I have those boxes raised of the ground.

Most of the Collection is Marvel but I have some DC mostly stuff from New 52 and on.

I recently started using CLZ but I have a long way to go to enter all those comics.
@@ComicBookCorner2.0 it goes fast. Just using my iPad likely 24 hrs or work time to enter 12000. If you have long runs of things it’s quick. I did not spend a ton of time entering grades
What do you think your total count is on your collection? Alot of Short boxes, I'm guessing mine is around 3,000 by now.
