Today we're looking at Pokemon mandela effects i found on the internet! If you have anymore weird mandela moments from Pokemon that you think i missed let me know in the comments!
I remember learning how to draw pikachu by memory as a small child, so i always remembered him having a yellow tail with brown at the base, not a black tail tip
I think Pikachu's tail tip missing is one of the first MEs that I really noticed, along with Fruit of the Loom's missing cornucopia and Kit-Kat lacking the -. I have a reason for remembering the tip, too. I recall as a kid, seeing Pikachu's tail, the black tip made it kinda look like an axe to me; I know axes aren't that color, but I know it made me think of one, and I used to think "I wonder if he could cut trees down with that thing?" or something similarly silly. Without that black tip, it just looks like a lightning bolt.. which makes sense, but it's not what it looked like to me as a kid.
Actually, Alakazam DID originally have a star on his forehead. If you look closely at his original sprite from the Japanese Pokemon Red/Green you can actually make out a star shape on his forehead. No idea why they removed it in Blue....
The black tip on the tail that people remember probably comes from the black tips on the ears. When people picture Pikachu they imagine protruding yellow bits with a black tip, (the ears) and they remember that Pikachu's silhouette has three protrusions, the ears and the tail. So they assume that the tail also has a black tip.
I do recall Pikachu having a black tip on the tail, but I also have the original VHS copy of the first Pokemon episode and it does indeed have a fully yellow tail.
I admit that Pikachu’s tail is officially all yellow on the tip. But I remember as a kid I had a Burger King toy in a kid’s meal that had the black tip. Maybe the black tip Mandela effect comes from cheaply made Pikachu toys with the black tip.
I think this particular one was heavily driven by all the bootleg toys, plushies and other stuff. I remember my friend had a big Pikachu plush, that I'm quite certain had a black tip on his tail
you admit wrong, i swear every single other mandela affect i have encountered are just false memories but i remember pikachu so specifically, LITERALLY EVERYTHING that had pikachu had a black tail and thats not all, the tail was not just like a curved line or anything, the border between black and yellow was in a lightning like patters which is why i remember it so specifically, he always had a black tail and i will die on this hill happily
I don't remember the pikachu toys from burger king having a black tip on the tail, all I remember from the 90's are toys pikachu with a white tip on the tail from the 90's tomy figures,so maybe there are toys out there that do have the black tip as well, but I've never seen one when I was a kid
I never remembered pikachu having a black tip on the tail, cause that didn't happen until cosplay pikachu was introduced in the hoenn remake, but if people are remembering this from the 90's then I do have questions, cause I'm the only one that doesn't remember this from the 90's
The only one here for me was the Pikachu tail. Which I am certain was just an all yellow tail with either a black or brown tip. The mew one I could see as just being a memory of a bad VHS copy where the colours are degraded for one reason or another. Mew was always a very light pink so a bad TV or VHS tape could easily have made it look white. The Brock and Misty ones makes sense because they were on and off the show with different importance levels so many times that it was hard to keep track. I remembered them mostly correctly but it was still vague at best. The rest just sound like people not having an understanding of Pokémon as a whole. Not really mandella effects imo.
White faced medetite is driving me nuts!!! I remember it being fully blue skin except for the turban and pampers! I had a card with medetite and I loved how awesome it was. And I drew that pokemon for hrs. Now it's face is white!
How can anyone think gen 1 had no dual types? Bulbasaur is grass/poison, and not only is it one of the starters, it's #001 in the pokedex! (Also both of the regional birds were normal/flying.)
I remember reading certain Pokédex’s that slowbro on rare occasions would get bitten on the head by a sheldar then turn into slowking I thought that slowbro holds kings rock then turns into slowking that makes more sense
Does anyone remember in the first pokemon movie that ALL of mewtwos pokemon had markings on their bodies and not just blastoise venasaur and charizard???
Pikachu NEVER had a black tip on its tail, unless it's a female, as the outline for the heart shape Brock was in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh No, Psyduck evolves by leveling up
So why might people have thought Brock left after Johto? Probably because Misty had left at that time and both had been Ash's companions together for almost the entire series at that point, and also that Brock was away for the first three episodes of Hoenn. Regarding the Movie about Mewtwo you mentioned: That is not Mewtwo strikes Back, it's called Pokémon: The First Movie. (it's even in my RUclips recommendations on the right side of screen right now) And lastly, why did you feel the need to needlessly pad out the run time explaining the plot of random Pokémon movies that have nothing to do with the Mandela Effect you were about to mention, other than that they had that specific Pokémon in them, like with the case of Slowking? Doing that makes your video kinda feel like one from WatchMojo and similar channels and I hope I don't have to mention, that this is not a good thing.
This isn't Pokemon but in the sonic TV show at the end that famous scene were eggman misses sonic completely then again then he actually catches him but sonic pops out of the sewer and presses the button smashing eggman but dr eggmans 1st and 2nd attempt never happened I swear it did but i watched it again and it dident
Really? I remember specifically that it was the version exclusive counterpart of Donphan, which is definitely gen 2. People mistaking Togepi for gen 1 is more understandable though. Though it is absolutely gen 2 too
A kid I new (not very bright) like 4yrs older than me (I was 7 at the time) said pokemon are born from pokeballs, now this stemed from me saying my pikachu is a girl he says the only female pokemon is jigglypuff then I asked then how are baby pokemon made.
To me the pikachu’s tail ME switched around. It used to be that the tail had the black stripe on the tip but most people remembered it as all yellow. It’s a ME on a ME. I never remembered the black stripe.
These fake Pokemon fans, Pikachu never had black tipped tail. Stop saying that he did, you fake Pokemon fans, who probably haven't even played the games since generation 1.
Pikachu is described in many official Pokedex entries as an "electric mouse Pokemon". This is a reason why. Though I see where you are coming from. Along with the tail, his shape is most similar to a squirrel.
I remember learning how to draw pikachu by memory as a small child, so i always remembered him having a yellow tail with brown at the base, not a black tail tip
And thats otherway around with me lol

Pichu has a black tail.
Some female pikachus in the games have black hearts on the tips of their tails, maybe that's why some people got confused
yeah the cosplay pikachu are the only ones
maybe some people, but as far as i know the effect was still there before the cosplay pikachu were released
That wasn’t a thing until Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire tho

kadabra's star is on his head in the games
kadabra does have a star. the thing is people are remembering alakazam having one

@@eugenekrabs141 Yeah I remember that as well. I even had a Pokemon how to draw book and I remember seeing that in there.
I saw it in the sun and moon anime

Tentaquil from Generation 2 which spawned in 2010 is probably my favorite Mandela Effect in Pokemon.
Popular man
6:55 get it? GET IT???
I'm dumb no I don't
I must have missed that episode where misty showed up in houenn, and so Tracy is his name, I forgot about him
Half of these l've never heard of, and l don't see how a large number of people could believe it.
I never remembered pikachu having a black tip on the tail, cause that didn't happen until cosplay pikachu was introduced in the hoenn remake, but if people are remembering this from the 90's then I do have questions, cause I'm the only one that doesn't remember this from the 90's
The very fact psyduck is purely a water type is Mandela effect of its own. It’s obviously a duel type, water and psychic

Bro never gave the bike back
''people remember skarmory as a gen 3 pokemon'' the weird thing is,I do.I simply forgot it was already in gen 2. d'oh. 🤣
White faced medetite is driving me nuts!!! I remember it being fully blue skin except for the turban and pampers! I had a card with medetite and I loved how awesome it was. And I drew that pokemon for hrs. Now it's face is white!
nice vid
It translate's to nice act
@@jamesnoonan1690 cool
I REALLY don’t get how people can make some of these mistakes tbh…
0:23 you can tell its fake ssince the shading on the feet is weird as hell
that Opening of Joe Biden Pikachu being around Minors opening I wanted to leave but after the rest it wasn't bad.
Yeah I remember the black tip vividly and I clearly remember Brock leaving after Johto and only cameoing during the series after.
Mewsmine70 believes a Mandela Effect of the Pokémon Ice Cream bars.
How can anyone think gen 1 had no dual types? Bulbasaur is grass/poison, and not only is it one of the starters, it's #001 in the pokedex! (Also both of the regional birds were normal/flying.)
Can you do a video about Pokemon urban legends next, please?
Please do more SpongeBob and and Pokémon
I remember reading certain Pokédex’s that slowbro on rare occasions would get bitten on the head by a sheldar then turn into slowking I thought that slowbro holds kings rock then turns into slowking that makes more sense
Does anyone remember in the first pokemon movie that ALL of mewtwos pokemon had markings on their bodies and not just blastoise venasaur and charizard???
I swear corphish was a gen 1 pokemon and spheal was gen 2
what is bro on about
Pikachu NEVER had a black tip on its tail, unless it's a female, as the outline for the heart shape
Brock was in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh
No, Psyduck evolves by leveling up
misty was in most episodes including orange islands
"I WANT TO BREED LIKE YOU" sometimes i wonder why this is TV-Y7 💀
and 3:43
it would be way funnier if he said "i-i wanna breed you"
pikachu has always been my favourite pokemon.
Kadabra has always had a star on its head, not Alakazam.
cosplay pikachu has a black tip

Another Mandela effect is that Scarmory is a gen 3 Pokémon but in reality it’s gen 2.
Really? I remember specifically that it was the version exclusive counterpart of Donphan, which is definitely gen 2. People mistaking Togepi for gen 1 is more understandable though. Though it is absolutely gen 2 too
thanks to the anime,I thought togepi, was from gen 1 for the longest time

5:25 literally shows footage of mew being white

@@najpotenicewolf934 Not only that, but the person who made Pikachu said the Pokémon was based off of a squirrel.
well pikachu is largly based on a pika which is kind of a mouse like creature@@swirlycube9293
pokedex: ''mouse pokemon.''
@@aporue5893 have you not read the 2018 interview when they said pikachu is based off of a a squirrel? it was clearly comfirmed
