Black Milk is a solid artist. I got his Broken Wax and Popular Demand albums. Nice flows and nice production. I was wonderin' how he (and other producers) cut those records up.
Everybody speaks shreds of Ebonics nowadays but remember that black folks brought slang and Jive into the mainstream language. If it weren't for the first black Jazz cats back in the early days slang would sound very very different. Rappers over time inherited alot of their dialectics from Jazz musicians including language and nuance.
Recentish Black Milk fan and loving all his albums. Crazy beats and a humble dude too. From the UK but this music sh!t is making me wanna come out to Detroit... The girls in the vids help too...
@tinktwiceman RP5s (black & yellow) and Kroks. The 5s are sufficient for the average sized room. 6s aren't much of a difference for the price and the 8s are unnecessary unless you have a big room or if you're tryna piss off the neighbors (that's why I picked up the 10s sub)
This is awesome!! But does anyone else think that its weird that he has trouble remembering the name of the song that he produced. lol. its a bad ass song, and my favorite on the album!
theres a difference between the two words. if you don't understand the difference, then why even comment about it? ignorance is what keeps the world in turmoil. if you don't understand, then don't open your mouth about it.
How you gonna have fucked audio for a video about a producer?? Black Milk is blessing viewers with bangin' beats and the camera man doesn't check his levels... or find whatever the fuck is feeding the whole time... or fix that right channel. Come on man. ...regardless... Thank you Black Milk for keeping real hip-hop alive.
