    This was the best jewelry video on wire I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much. I would love to see more about wire. And the lady has such a great spirit about her and and great teacher

    I'm going to try to make my first gemstone necklace, this video helped me out so much and gave answers to many of my questions. If it turns out ugly i will keep practicing 😊

    Does anyone know what hardness wire to use for making eye pins for beads or closed off wire hoop connectors for beads? Apparently wire comes in Dead Soft, Half Hard or Full Hard.

    Doesn’t the silver plated wire get scraped when hammering? What I’m asking is will you see the copper color underneath once you start hammering.

    • @JewellersAcademy
      @JewellersAcademy  3 года назад +1

      Not really no, we're only using light hammering x

      @@JewellersAcademy thank you for your reply. I also wonder do you work with silver wire as well? Or just the silver plated copper wire? I’ve been working with the silver plated copper and wondering if I should be using silver wire?

      Buy baby wipes, let a few of them dry out. Put a wipe on top of your wire design then hammer. And Ahhh, no scratches! Those baby wipes are just thick enough for this and to clean the wire as well. Hope this helps. Be sure to do this on top of a steel block. 😊
