I came across this channel randomly few days back and trust me you guys have made my jewellery making process much easier and much more neat!!!! Thanks a lot for making such videos and helping me out so very much!!!!!..gratefu❤l❤❤
I'm learning at home to make jewellery and in the space of 10 minutes you've taught me how to solder I feel so confident I could do it immediately and now on to gangsta pro tips... Thank you!!
Yes I bought the mylon plier and not only did the wire make gashes and grooves in the nylon but one of the pads pulled off with the third use so use them with care. It was a famous brand about $14.
sorry to be off topic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Eden Carlos thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
I use bail pliers all the time for loops, particularly the smallest step. Never thought of using the base to not only take the guesswork out of where to make the bend, but now I'm not changing tools constantly.
All great tips. I've been on the fence about buying the bail pilars but I'm definitely going to get some. Same thing with the triangle trays. I love my nylon pilars. I have stopped trying to wrap beads but I'm going to try again . Thanks to all of you.
Love it. I would like to see pro tips on making jump rings. I have a problem with using the jewelry saw. I know about using tape around the coil to keep rings together while sawing, but I still can't get a clean cut. I think it is a problem on how I'm holding the coil with the coil pliers on the bench pen. Any tips on making jump rings is appreciated. Thanks
How to end the wire on necklace closures would be helpful. I've closed off necklaces and had two problems: 1. the wire end manages to expose itself enough to rub and prick the neck, and 2. The beads shift or settle enough after wearing a necklace awhile that I'm left with a little spot of bare wire at the closure which isn't pretty at all.
Thank you ahead of time for the following. Question for Katy. About the tool as measurement. You showed how to measure for the smallest loop. How do we measure for the other sizes?
I would like to know how you straighten beading wire, like 9 strand or whatever after it has been in a small circle? I have had a couple that don’t want to lie nice. There Is no kinks either.
I like the instructions, but seriously need a background where we can see the little things in your hands. The different tips from each person was a plus. Thank you
Just a suggestion... you may want to use a black or dark velvet cloth on the table for your videos. I couldn’t see anything you were doing. Making a loop in the last segment... I couldn’t see it with the light beige table and the gold wire. It all blended together. Also if you could zoom in on the jewelry while showing us a technique, that would really help. I couldn’t see the bead/wire work in making a “seat” for the bead tip. Anyway, thanks for all the tips!! Love it!
Confused with how you made the loop with regular roundnose pliers. First, don't cut the wire until you know where it overlaps. And I always mark my roundnose if I do a lot of loops and they end up the same size. So the hazzle with making a roundnose loop is not as bad as you make it out to be.
Can you suggest a good brand of wire that won't tarnish in a short time. Also a good brand of jewellery findings namely earring hooks, jump rings, eye pins and head pins. I want to make jewelry to sell. Thanking you for your help.
Hey Cindy! Parawire makes a great non-tarnish wire. As for the other supplies, check out out Jewel School Supply site! www.jtv.com/jewelry-making/_/N-375228644

Hey Leah! I measure starting from the tip of the wire, when making a 90 degree bend for a loop. In general though, I use the bigger bail sizes where ever I need to make a loop in the wire! Hope that answers your question - let me know if you need more clarification! Thanks! - Katy
Hi.where can I buy some plyers that don't mark or scratch? Is there a nylon coated one I can buy? Not to straighten wire but in general jewellery making. Thanks so much. Stay safe!
Do you have any advice about how to start building your bead collection that won't cost a fortune? I get SO overwhelmed when I go shopping for beads, I want everything in the store!
Dawn, right!? Beads are so beautiful and it's hard not to buy everything! JTV does offer a wide selection of affordable beads and here is a link to those: www.jtv.com/category/jewelry-making/beads/_/N-1547377695?mcid=XSOjsyt Our best advice would be to start small. Buy a strands of multi-colored beads that you can afford and save what you don't use to add to what we call "bead soup," which is just a mix of all different kinds of beads. You can also buy in bulk like a multi-gem parcel. Pretty soon you'll have a big collection without having spent a lot of money! Good luck to you! www.jtv.com/product/multi-stone-nugget-appx-4x8mm-bead-strand-set-of-10-appx-15-16-/JLW11849?mcid=XSOjsyt

I appreciate the tips. I have a question for you. Is there a way to straighten wire before you cut it off the spool? I always find that the wire remains curved, so measuring and cutting an exact length is impossible.
Hi Rani! You can straighten the wire with a nylon straightener right on the spool before you cut it. Just pull the length of wire you want to work with and straighten from the spool to the end of the wire and cut. If your wire is going to be long, just straighten it in sections before cutting. It's that simple! Good luck!
Thanks for the reply. I will have to acquire a nylon straightener, now. No more having to cut another length of wire, because I miscalculated the length.
Jolene, these triangle trays are amazing! Currently we are sold out of them because they are so popular. Do a quick internet search for "Triangle Scooping Tray" and you should find what you need! Also, be sure you get them in aluminum. They work the best!

Oh. My. Gaw!!! That last bale pro tip is 🤯!!!! You changed my life!!🥰
So happy it helped! We love blowing people's minds! 🤣🤯
Thank you, just what I needed about loops, and more. Every pro tip helps. The loop, the tape time saver and the bead triangle.
I purchased the little trays and you are correct it is so simple for clean up.
Love the tips! My favorite was the tape around the finger. Brilliant!

Thanks to Katy for the measurement tip to make a perfect loop with 6 in 1 pliers. No more guessing now!
Thank you ladies. It was fun with those tools
I love watching you all, thank you!!!
Yes! The first and last gave me the knowledge I needed. Thanks!
Thank you ahead of time for the following. Question for Katy. About the tool as measurement. You showed how to measure for the smallest loop. How do we measure for the other sizes?
You could a flat nose plier and ruler, or you can try to eyeball the bend to match the loop size!
@@JewelSchool Thank you.

I have a question: Do you guys have bonding pro tips? Metal to Metal
Pro tip, where to exactly cut wire when making rings would be good!

Susan loved your seed beaded bracelet looked like maybe 3 hooked together can you show how you made that?
Hi! We'll ask and see if she can do a future tutorial!
Katy your rings are beautiful, what is that bezel wire you have wrapped the stone in? Do you stock it ?
Which gauge is used for name chain making? ??
Omg. I never knew about the measuring tool on the plier 😂 I thought it was for holding the wire 🤦🏽♀️
