Interesting issue :) I have to say that with acids some I like potent such as glycolic acid but some I prefer mild. In face creams i usually prefer to use the active ingredients not at the maximum rate but for oils such as coco caprylate I like to do high percentage since I like the skin feel of this ingredient. For body scrubs i like strong scrubs that I can feel the exfoliating effect especially on the elbows … So I would say depending on the product and what I need at the time, for example during summer I prefer lighter creams so less butters and less oils but during winter I do prefer more dense creams with more moisturizing ingredients.
How could I make the percentage of salicylic acid a little stronger for a face serum please? I am hoping to make a 2% serum. Could I just disolve 2g into the propanediol? Thankyou so so much for this video and written instructions by the way!!!
@@diycosmetica I use 2% or 4% salyciic acid from Paula's Choice. It is expensive though, so I was hoping to make one myself. But 1% isn't going to be sufficient for me. I have ichthyosis vulgaris.
I need the percentage to try this... Please tell

So good! When making your diy cosmetics, do you like to make it potent or mild?

Plz tell the percentage while adding
You have the formula with the amounts here:

May I add zinc PCA to this serum?
You can but make sure not to add more than 1% since it can cause irritation. If you add 1% reduce it from the distilled water amount.
❤
Hi how are you? All good?
Hi! Yes, thanks for asking.
Can we use this serum to reduce the white spots on the face?
Salicylic acid is usually used to treat acne or hyperpigmentation but it can also help with other spots on the face.
