Honestly surprised how many bands are going AI, isn’t it the case that you don’t own the copyright for AI artwork? Anyone could use those images, though I guess their banking on the fact no one (at least no one with a modicum of taste) would!
I can tell you I am NEVER buying something with AI art, why would anyone do?
And they don’t even get AI art that is actually something you could only make with AI, like photorealistic 80s movie stills, stuff like that. It’s always crap like lazy photoshop…
Shame on deicide and any other band or artist that uses AI!
💯 agree! And like I said on the episode, what boggles my mind is how bands can receive such impassioned blowback from their fans about it, yet they decide to double-down. Your audience is telling you something sucks and your response is to tell them that they're wrong to hold that opinion?! Makes no sense.
I think, politics wise, this chapter is an echo chamber feedbacking their own view. Just an honest opinion. BTW I'm a legal immigrant and disagree on certain views about immigration. In any case, respect to your views.

On a serious note, like I stressed during the intro and after the interview - these are opinions and perspectives, and neither of us certainly had any intention of presenting ourselves as experts or authorities on anything we discussed.
