My summary of "How to Shoot a Cinematic Intro Sequence at Home": Have a full studio at home XD
+ 10,000 worth of gear
I did mine a year ago with little to no equipment!
having that equipment and studio is nothing without the creativity and the talent tho
Expensive equipments usually (keyword "usually") dont have anything to do with the results, expensive equipments are expensive because the ease of usage and shorter process to achieve good results, you can still achieve same superb end results like expensive equipments but itll usually take a lot of time, skills, edits, and creativity
Yes, that's the thing... it's one of highly expensive business, talent, dedication and patience is the 1st important things...
How Landon shoots a Cinematic Sequence: Epic Movements, perfect Compositions, clean and technical 100% correct.
How I shoot a cinematic Sequence: Orange & Teal. Works at least in my B-Rolls... sometimes If footage or story is really really off I put extra Black Bars.
"Cinematic" doesn't really mean anything, Oranges in Teal can be better than a floating camera. A closeup of Landons eyes, while he swears opening the box, could be even more interesting and "cinematic". Everything should not look like a toothpaste commercial.
Nowadays we can make whatever we want at home. We’re lucky. Even with your iPhone, you can make a great film! You just need a great idea. Thank you so much for your content! I hope one day I’ll make cinematic videos like yours!
so true you just need great ideas and you can make anything you like :)
Definitely! :))
we can make good videos, but not a great film. i think a lot of people confuse the 2.
What about android users
Parker Walbeck
created an avalanche of 2 million videographers.
Generating tough competition for the ones who try making money.🤣
Ayeee thanks for the Shout Landon! 🙌🏻 Much appreciated. Loved the shot from inside the box. Great video and Insight. Super valuable 👌🏻
i was just about to comment how i liked all the shots except that one. i found it really cheesy and lame
This was so sick omfg! Love how it’s not just something that looks good but has great storytelling, and how you guys incorporated using the product you’re showcasing
Very cool sequence. Somehow it’s less cliche than a lot of other “cinematic b-roll” videos. I think a lot of that has to do with how well planned out your shot list was before you even started. I will be spending a little more time in pre production planning on my next videos 👍
the best thing about your videos is that every single word you say has a meaning, nothing is superfluous it kinda reminds me of kimimaro's taijutsu level where no move he makes is useless! amazing content guys
Probably the best B-roll I have seen on youtube so far! This is super cool!
Fantastic work. Very cool to see all the planning and work that goes into making this.
This is what you called a real tutorial. 100% clean explanation ...Good work and nice clever tricks indeed.

the key of getting a great b roll footage is to write on a paper like he does all the steps that you need to shot before, use your imagination and your creative ideas makes it more easy in process.
This is awesome needed this with Covid going on right now! Can’t wait to use what you’ve shown😁
Can't wait to see what you do!
OMG. You are a total badazz. Who knew there was so much attention to detail in each clip. I love it. Wish I had that skill.

the quality of this content is insane
Super clean👌🏽
Perfect quarantine make my day thank you 🤘 stay safe guys
Dayum. I love this so much. I loved my career and I am about to retire, but I sometimes wish I could have grown up a little later and got into film and editing. Its allows for so much unique creation and artistic flair! But, at 57 years old, I am a bit late to the party to make a career out of it. To have the right equipment, know how to use it... it takes loads of time and experience. Hats off to you folks doing this and making these instructional videos. I guess I will just live vicariously through all of your work.
I am 56 and I am starting now. I still have 10 or more years left in me and then I will have a bunch of young guys working for my video production company.
I disagree. You can learn a ton in a year now and be making money / quality videos in that time span. There’s so much quality info available now and message boards like the full time filmmaker group to help fill in the gaps. Just do it dude!
I think retiring is your best opportunity to start something new. I wish the best for you.

Engaging sound design , and liking the clever fishing net idea.
Thank you and hello from Romania! I just really like how you explain and the quality of the videos! Congrats.👋😊📸
The intro shoot in the beginning was a banger. it was so beautiful 😫.
was sooo good
That intro was flippin’ awesome!
The best way to learn from this video first I "watch it without sound" , pay attention to what's happening then figure it out in your own interpretations then watch it over with the sound on.
This is the golden advice i was looking for
Love your tutorials and creativity! Top notch :)
Amazing!! Saludos desde Mexico
Had to choose-watch this or another interesting video. I wisely chose this. Interesting to see the planning and intricate detail required to make such a video. You’re very dedicated. At 74, I’m not sure I have the inner fire to try this myself, but I sure like to watch you do it!
