Sir I learn lot of things from your tutorials.....I never found tutorials like you on youtube.....you clear my basic concepts......Sir please create one complete exterior project....... Thank you SWK tutorials.....keep making such knowlegeable tutorials......
Brother you are amazing. this is professional teaching And you save my life , I was doing chamfering and increasing polly count to fix this but that wasn't helping at all
But this method is killing my computer ,I am using 8 gen i5 with 4 gb graphics and 16 gb ram ( this is not enough 😭 so Play gently for those who are like me)
hi awesome video, i have a question, any idea how to only apply dislacement on a specific face? lets say only one side of a cube without affecting the rest? thank you!
I need your help: When I add the displacement to 3 objects, my IPR gets pixelated, the camera freezes or 3DS Max crashes. I wanted to make a 30m sidewalk with pavement and it froze too. Is there a problem with my textures or should displaced objects be small and you shouldn't use them on every object?
I HAVE A QUESTION ? what if I want to modify the scale of the displacement map? how can I do it? for example I've modified the texture with uvw map but the displacement is off scale. thanks for the video
I didn't understand what do you mean by scale of displacement. The displacement is used to give height or depth to the model according to texture. If the displacement result is not good. Just play with its parameters as shown in video.
Thank you so much for your all videos, very much useful for us 👍 Where we get latest objects and texures for max15,kindly do more videos about metallic materials realistic
Thank you so much for this content! Question 1 : what is the difference between vray bitmap and general bitmap? Question 2 : I see that you don't selected the rest of the maps because they are not in the subject, can you do a complete content with all that textures files like Normal, Roughness and Ambient Occlusion?
Answer 1: since vray 5 , VRayHDRI texture had been renamed to VRayBitmap texture. It will give some performance improvements. According to Chaos group. But frankly I haven't check the performance. Answer 2: I'll do it in future.

This is a professional method I used in my office. Just do 1 thing. Keep edge length to 4. Don't decrease it. It will save render time.
After doing this let me know. I hope this will not kill your system.
@@SWKTutorials yha we can't reduce pixels count to 2 and below , I find a sweet spot of 3.5 and 3
Good. Keep the edge length between these values.
very good tutorial! Thank you!
Thanks for appreciation 😊

max's built in displacement hasn't gotten better over the years? I'm trying it in max 2016 and it just crashes if there is any complexity
You need a lot of ram for it.
This scene was made with 32GB ram
now! this is the tutorial!...
Thaaaaank you
please make a video of each map please and how to apply them manually
what is the diff btw bump and displacement map?????

How much ram do you have installed in system?
Plus graphic card details
@@SWKTutorials thanks your reply so far. I got 16gb ram, a Nvidia Geforce 2060 4gb and a Ryzen 7 2700
Your graphic card is ok. But the ram can be an issue. In my experience displacement needs a lot of ram.
@@SWKTutorials oh ok, thank you!

Hello, I hope you can help me, I cannot achieve continuity, I continue with that problem
Did you check "keep continuity" parameter.
