    Really nice course 👌.. only thing I would do differently is all spray the plastic pipe grey.. and stain and cut off the curved edge's of the lollipop sticks.. thank for the video.. I love the way you cut the foam.. all those angles make it more rock like..

    I think this is the best looking foam course I've seen. How did you texture it? I haven't been too happy with the foam pieces I've built in terms of texture and grip

    • @ShawnNicklaus
      @ShawnNicklaus  3 года назад +7

      For texture I cut the foam and then add stone texture paint to the surface. Seems to be working well!

    Cutting the foam sure helped it look more natural. I think that is why, I like the results more than other spray foam results. It also assures me that spray foam will never look realistic enough for me.

    • @ShawnNicklaus
      @ShawnNicklaus  2 года назад

      Cutting it sure does help a lot, you can cut it any way you like and if you mess up you can spray more foam!

    Hi Shawn. Fantastic build. I’m literally just getting into this hobby as In this weekend. I have built my course and I now ready to foam and plaster cloth it.
    I’m jumping the gun but can you or anybody else tell me about the paints that you used and how to get those colours and textures. I live in Manchester England, so anything that Amazon sells would be ideal rather than local hobby shops in USA.
    Thanks so much
    Paul
